Mine is stick welded, got through three derbies last year without a problem. Only the spider gears are welded. After it was mig welded and that didnt work out well ;D

If u have the choice between a 74 impala bumper and a 76 impala bumper. Definitely use the 74 and use the monte bumper before the 76 impala as well.

Wee727 creasing job was done by a pro! Probably the straightest and tightest lines I've seen on creasing a car. But it's looking like I'll be doing a lot of creasing this coming summer I'll just need some help. And by help I don't mean some dipstick hitting my crease lines with a sledge hammer

Just to correct you the cold bending process is not done by heating the frame with a torch. You Chain the front and rear of the car and put 2 sources to bend the frame (bottle jacks)etc at the point of the frame where you want to bend it. Preferably where the stock crossmember is and you replace it with a new piece of angle iron for an crossmember bracket to be welded to the frame. We've cold bended on the crush boxes. Is cold bending more effective when done by the crossmember?
