With how far I thought of taking it it will be to thin an be a weak spot if using heat to go that far.

I know it's not exactly the same but here's a idea on a hub/pin saver. This is a stock spindle I stretched 4" and the saver bolts to the factory dust shield mounting holes.

How did you weld to the cast? Don't appear to be welded to anything other than the plate that is bolted to the spindle

He said he stretched it four inches.

There’s a few methods to weld cast, welding small intervals and cool down methods are key though.

He said he stretched it four inches. Maybe he's Hercules and just gave er a tug. Nickle rod and stick welder with pre heat and slow cool is how I've welded mopar ears back on the block before

Welding cast strong enough to hold up to the abuse of a spindle is impressive. Hats off to you.

Got a question I've known about guys using these gm lift spindles but we had a guy at our local derby Saturday run some for a dodge he claimed that looked beefy as hell. He apparently showed the promoter the link to where he got them and says its legit. Anyone know anything about dodge lift spindles? He had them on a caddy if that matters to anyone lol
