This class is completely full as of yesterday. We decided to take a few extra entries incase some don't show or pass inspection here.4 different states will be battling it out for $3,000 first place in this class and top 10 get paid. So please don't send in anymore entries and there will be no entries accepted day of derby for this class. Thanks to everyone who plans on running or just watching our event. Jeremy and Vicky Faust

One heck of a show Jermy and Vicki the full size was one heck of a heat Thanks to everybody who attended our event yesterday. Without all the support from drivers and the fans there would be no reason to do this demolition derby. I will post results soon.

Alot of nice cars in full-size heat everything pretty much made junk. A few thoughts from me first of all need to be a little more clear on rules for example bumper mounting brackets having to be in stock location and no moving them back and when texting about the rule only answer being stock mounting position. Four hour drive there to be told you "meant" stock position but can move it forward or back or wrap frame with it. Most derbies tell you how far from core support hole. I built 100% to rules so I wouldn't be loaded after four hour drive and ended up being underbuilt. This is what's ruining derbies let's just build our cars how we want and let the inspectors tell us how to fix it there? Why even have rules if you don't know how to make sure they are explained properly when asked? Also should give 1 minute before calling cars out 20 seconds just isn't right I saw some awfully fast counts I get that you want it fast paced but give the drivers a chance to wreck their car not there night. Now on to my real problem with the derby our heat was stopped a number of times for debris and bumpers on track yet I end up stuck on a bumper and damn near wreck my trans trying to get off it and you tell me your reason for not removing that bumper from track is the fact that I hit the guy and his bumper fell off blah blah blah either you remove bumpers that come off cars or you don't. If it was the drivers own bumper I could possibly understand but not the way that happened. I hope you try and fix things for years to come some of the best drivers and cars around showed up this year as much as I like running against the best drivers around who know how to build there cars this derby left such a bad taste in my mouth I will never be back as a driver or a spectator. Never been screwed like that before. Good luck with the derby. ALLEN HASSE 440

Never been screwed like that before. Good luck with the derby. ALLEN HASSE 440 Now let me tell my side of the story. I do agree with some of what ya said here. But some things are just your opinion and my opinion varies from yours on a few things.First off from a simple text about a bumper mounting question that's vague, how am I suppose to know exactly what your asking ? I'm not there and your not here and everyone interputs rules differently.rules say bumper can be hardnosed also.I bet I could tell two people same answer to your question and get two different results.Yes,you did build 100% to the rules here I do agree with that.As far as being underbuilt I disagree with that, your front end held up just as good as anyone else and you ended up 5th place out of 22 entries. As far as car counts its hard to get all officials on same page.Next time there will be stop watches for that issue,we had headsets but for some reason nobody set them out to use (I'll take blame for that). Your entry was paid by superior grinding wich would of been nice if they would told me before day of derby so I could of had entry sheet all filled in to give to registration instead of being blank sheet. And for the last little bitch fest here.YES we stopped action for tires on rims or bumpers that were in the ring. This is how this went down.Allen hit Jared Heaney's wagon drove up in rear and was stuck, they finally broke free.Jareds sheetmetal and rear bumper tore off and ended up under Allens car.Allen couldn't move,I personally thought he was hung on car behind him.One of my other refs counted him out for not making a aggressive hit in 20 seconds from being hung up.Believe it or not a few seconds after that, that's when I realized bumper was still under his vehicle.Anyways I will own up and say it probably wasn't best call now,but in spur of the moment it was the call that was made.Since I do care what most of my drivers think, .I would pay your entry here to make it right if you ever decided to run here again, but guess I don't have to ever worry about that. First off who cares about a $75 entry fee? Whether I paid it Bob paid it or Fred flinstone paid it. Nobody paid for my $2000 car or my $15000 parts that were in it? My car held up in front because it was clean and I drove it to try and save front. My point was you have to clarify these rules for the future I love old iron derbies be nice if you could keep this one alive first step would be to have a set of rules and stick to them and according to rules gray areas are either cut or loaded stick to that rule if u want to keep cars coming imo. YES you should have removed bumper even if it was seconds after u counted me out there is no way to remedy it now what's done is done although should have never happened. 5th out of 22 doesn't make me happy I would have loved to wreck my car all the way and either place higher or get my a$$ handed to me but not the case. As I said no remedy for it so vent over good luck next year
