'94 Lincoln - First ran in August of 2013 After it's first run; no tranny coolers = burned up tranny Before it's second run. After 20" of plate was then added and it ran in a mod class; one place away from advancing to the feature. After Never broke the stock 8.8 axles though.

girlfriends and my car this year, stock county fair rules. Only allowed a seat bar, only reason we run is because its the home town show.

You guys that ran stock box vics... Did you run stock Ford rearends? If so, how do they hold up? I ran a stock 87 2 years ago (3 heats) and had no problems but I don't know if i just got lucky! I'm concidering building a stock 88 for next summer...
Thanks!

Don't get me wrong these rears are garbage bUT stock stuff they will most of the time get the job done.

Never had a problem with axles, never had a problem with the carrier. Knock on wood.

Thanks for your answers. I was considering putting a GM 10 bolts.. I know it would pass tech since it's a small hometown show... But I want to stay within the rules and also minimize the amount of work for a "stock" build... And I don't have a 10 bolts on hands for the moment...
So thanks for your input!
