How bad are they bent? Leaf springs are tempered steel, but you might be able to heat with a rose bud. Is just the mains bent? I would just build a new pack. If they are bent major

Just the main leaf is bent. But on both sides. I was thinking of putting them in my press and see if it would help.

I think you should take the above advice and build a new pack, it would be much stronger.

When you guys mount a set a leafs to the side of a unibody car what do you find works best? the leafs won't line up inline with the rails.
I'm assuming I'm gonna have to build another box on the side of the frame but I think I've seen guys just use bolts?

I'm building a clean roundback (75 olds) and my rules allow either factory leaf setup or homemade leafs. 22"x6"x1/4" hump plates contoured or straight across the frame are allowed. I am allowed an additional 4 clamps per side (2" x 1/4" max banding). Suspension does not have to bounce. Have to use factory mounting shackles and location for either setup. Homemade leafs have to be max 1/4" thick, 7 leafs max, 2" stagger minimum. No welding or taping leaf pack. My question is should I build a flat stack for this, or am I better off flipping a few on the stock factory setup? I've ran several with factory arch left alone, but never with hump plates allowed. Worried about making it too hard and sheering the body off the frame.

Whats the best leafs to use on 01 town car? Should I flat stack? Or leave leafs stock since we are allowed to chain rearends down with chains as long as there is 1" of bounce Rule is: Coil spring cars that change to shackle and springs may use max of 5 leafs on sedans No truck springs. Maximum of 4 clamps per spring, two front, two back are permitted. Spring leafs must be stair stepped in length and not the same length as the main leaf.
Car will also have gtp up tight to humps, down bars and a rear window bar that connects to the rollover bar

Has anyone used lift blocks to gain some height back after flat stacking? I don't want to make any longer of a shackle or tire. Im only talking like a 1.5-2" block

to lift a car u need to make the rear closer to ground.... lift blocks won't help u with this.... unless the rear is under the springs...witch is common on trucks not cars...

It's a pinto wagon, leafs are replaced with a flat stack made from 1ton leafs & front/rear shackles are redone. I can only run 5 leafs. Axle is now under leafs to gain back some height. I'm not done putting the 8.8 & tires under but it kinda looks like it may need to be higher so the qtrs don't get drove over. Just wondered if small blocks are a bad idea.

Most people run the wagons low in the back and let everyone hit the body instead of the frame.
