Stromi Do you have to change the mounts on a metric caddy like you do for old iron caddy to put a 10 bolt under it?

A slider should bolt right to a 12 bolt Depends on the 12 bolt. If it has a u-joint pinion then no a slider won't simply bolt up. You have to change the pinion yoke. Nerat sells them in the vendor section below, or you can simply use a stock GM 10 bolt pinion yoke (that the old style Constant Velocity shafts bolts to), same spline as a 12 bolt pinion.

I asked this question a while back and got no answer, tried several myself without much luck, but a 93 mercury topaz worked. At least that's what I was told it was off of at the junkyard when I was measuring pulled off rotors in the pile... It fit.

No all same bolt patterns but Close. Tempo an 80s escort aren't the same as the 90s cars. The 80s are bigger then the 90s an 2000s

So I've read a good part of this forum, and I'm taking it they didn't make gears for Buick 12 bolt rear ends? I've got one out of a 72 Electra, just curious if any aftermarket company made a gear for them. I've found some companies do for specific 12 bolts, but none mention buicks. I just find it funny how they don't make gears for the more common 12 bolt out there. I'd like to a 4.11-4.56

Nope thats why many run 10 bolt rears with 12 bolt axles.

What brake rotor bolts up to the gm constant velocity drive shafts/10 bolt flange ? mid 80's ford escort ? I use 99 ford contour rotors. Bolt pattern is the same, but the holes in the rotor are larger. I've never found it to be a problem once tightened down though.
