Just picked up an 01 solara a few months back that needed a timing belt. Went to change it and can't get the crank pulley bolt to loosen up. Tried it with an impact,then heat and an impact,then a breaker bar wedged in the control arm and bump starting it. So tight it just stopped the starter lol. Have a weighted 1/2in drive socket I'm gonna try with heat but u have my doubts...is there any sneaky tips or tricks to get one of these things out?

Either it's reverse threads on the bolt, or use a weighted socked and a heavy duty impact.

Either it's reverse threads on the bolt, or use a weighted socked and a heavy duty impact. Weighted socket zapped it right off,but I went to put it in time and it was locked up. Traded it for a 94 camry wagon to derby this year lol
