I’m running my second derby, can’t seem to build pressure in my brakes using stock brakes, replaced bleeder screws that didn’t help any ideas please help

Replace wheel cylinders as well. Check your lines to make sure its not sucking air anywhere and no cracks and if your running aftermarket master cylinder make sure you bench bleed the master. Make sure your brake adjusters aren't broke or missing in the drums

Should I try tightening the adjusters ? Would that help

Definitely tighten adjusters until you feel drag when you spin the wheels then back it off a half turn and see how that feels.
