St. Croix County Fair
Glenwood City, WI
July 22nd (Rain Date of July 23rd.)
Tech: 12:00-4:00pm
Start Time: 5:00pm
We have decided to go with the following classes
•Midsize Chain/Youth combined (Explanation forthcoming)
•Minivans/SUV
•MWFA
•Midsize Mods***
•1/2 Ton Trucks***
•80’s and Newer Full size***
***Now for the last three classes listed, we have decided to go with preregistration. We want 10 cars signed up for each class by July 1st. We should have no problem as (20) 80s Chain Full Size, (28) 1/2 Ton Trucks and (17) Midsize mods replied to the poll. Doing it this way will help make sure we have commitment and make it worth everyone’s time. Remember as of now, payouts are based on car counts plus $2500 for the whole show, not just one class. Payouts will not be decided until day of event.
I really wish we could satisfy everyone and have every class but that’s just not feasible. We are looking to get some classes lined up for Lake Elmo, MN in August 5th so if there is interest in any classes please let me know so we can get going on that show as well. We can piggyback off this show as well as far as classes to. Payouts will be the same there as well, payouts based on car counts plus $2500 for the total show, not just one class.
Now that we have made this decision, we will decide on rules for 1/2 Ton Trucks and potentially changing a few things for 80’s Full Size hopefully by Wednesday/Thursday at the latest. (NO guarantees of changes but will look into it.)
I want the ones who answered the poll and/or anyone else interested in bringing a car or truck to get ahold of me so we can get this preregistration going. You will still be able to sign up at the gate, (IF we get the ten per class pre registered,) but it will cost you more. Once again, you have until July 1st to get preregistered!!
For the other classes, I have no problem with you preregistering to and would actually appreciate and encourage that. It will speed things up for everyone involved. And besides, if you plan on running, why not get it taken care of now?
Preregistration is NON-REFUNDABLE unless we don’t get enough for that class you are running.
Get ahold of me so we can get payment method information.
Entry fees will be $75 for all classes. Entry fee for midsize mods, 80s stock and 1/2 ton trucks will be $75 until July 1st otherwise $125 the day of, provided there are enough preregistered to have the respective class.
Pit passes will be $25.
More information regarding this show and other shows to come, including the Washington County Fair in Lake Elmo, MN in August 5th and the big one, the Badger State Beatdown August 12th at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI!
Below is the link for preregistration: (Instructions are on the form. No need to pay today, but MUST pay by July 1st for the classes in question.)
