My passenger side inside crush box and frame towards the front is pretty rusty. Is there a thread on how to fix this ? my rules state i can patch with 1/8 inch plate.

Being cheap, I tend to buy Vics with rusty crush boxes to save some money, and by mid build I'm kicking myself because it takes a lot of time to fix a box and they still tend to blow apart... Save yourself the hassle and pass on cars with rusty boxes.
If you must fix them, you almost need to take the down to the bare frame or you can't reach what you need to weld
