Everyone attending the event must enter the grounds and/or race at their own risk and are required to wear mask and practice safe social distancing of 6ft . The Hocking County Agricultural Society is not responsible for accidents, theft casualty, typographical errors etc.

1. Each driver must fill out an entry blank. Entry fee is $40.00. All entry fees should be paid 30 minutes before the show !! Social distances must be maintained and mask worn at sign up !!
2. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license. No driver under 16 will be permitted to drive due to insurance purposes. PHOTO ID MAY BE REQUIRED AT ANY TIME DUE TO UNDERAGE DRIVERS. 16yr old MUST have notarized parental consent.
3. Safety belts, helmets, goggles, or face shield are required.
4. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED ON GROUNDS. Any driver drinking or under the influence of drugs will be disqualified or removed.
5. Drivers must attend drivers meeting before the derby.
6. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disqualification. Drivers are responsible for the actions of crew members AND FAMILY MEMBERS at all times. Friends or family of the drivers are NOT permitted in the arena. NO EXCEPTIONS. Drivers will be disqualified if this occurs.
7. The top 3 cars will be subject to inspection after the feature before the prize money and trophies are presented. All cars are to be left in the arena until released by the officials.
8. Last car will be inspected 30 minutes before show time unless otherwise announced.
9. OFFICIALS, FAIRBOARD, and DRIVER ONLY are allowed in inspection area.
10. NO REFUNDS FOR ILLEGAL CARS AND HEATS OR FEATURE MISSED DUE TO CAR NOT BEING READY OR CAR NOT STARTING.
11. LAST CAR IN INSPECTION LINE AT 3:00 PM WILL BE MARKED. NO FURTHER CARS WILL BE INSPECTED. ARRIVE EARLY FOR INSPECTION!!
12. Driver may maneuver forward or backward. No head on collisions (center to center of front ends.)No deliberate hitting in the driver’s door. NO WARNING! No starter hits. Cars must be running. Hits must be aggressive.
LAST CAR MAKING THE LAST AGGRESIVE CONTACT IN THE FEATURE WILL BE THE WINNER.
13. A two (2) minute time limit is imposed on stalled cars. Cars not making contact within this time limit will be disqualified.
14. NO SANDBAGGING. IF THIS HAPPENS, THE DERBY WILL BE STOPPED AND AN (S) WILL BE PAINTED ON THE CAR. THEN THE CAR HAS 30 SECONDS TO MAKE CONTACT. Also carries into the feature and can cause disqualification for that night. Cars must make contact every 30 seconds.
15. Boundaries must be observed. Deliberately hitting another car on the logs is prohibited.
16. Any car spilling gas or catching fire is subject to be disqualified.
17. NO TEAMING. Working together will result in disqualification.
18. DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES ARE FINAL MAJORITY RULE.
19. A $50.00 protest fee is required to protest another car. Protest must be made before the feature.
20. Cars must be removed from the fairgrounds before 10:00 pm day of event
21. All vehicles will be parked in an orderly fashion in the pit area.
22. Cars will start in a suicide start and must have brakes at all times.
23. Derby will be composed of individual heats and one feature. Each of the last 3 cars remaining in the heat will receive a trophy/or plaque and a cash prize. All three cars will advance to the feature.
24. Additional safety regulations may be imposed depending on the track. Rules are subject to change without notice. Any driver not obeying the rules will be disqualified.
25. DISQUALIFICATIONS are for the entire EVENT car and driver!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. 4cyl and 6cyl will run in the mini stock class
4. All cars must be stock unless noted differently below
5. Absolutely NO painting or ANY TYPE OF WELDING to frames unless specified!! PERIOD !!
6. Battery must be moved to passenger side floor board . Must be securely fastened and covered with some type of fire proof covering .
7. ENGINE SWAPS ARE ALLOWED HOWEVER ENGINE MUST BE MOUNTED WITH STOCK STYLE MOUNTS WITH RUBBER BUSHING . Must be mounted to close as possible in stock position
8. Cross member must be in stock location and bolted in .NOT welded in
9. Exhaust can be stacks or stock manifolds
10. Trans coolers ok
11. One bar behind seat (4”x4” max tubing ) not to exceed 6” passed door post . Max 6”x6”x1/4” plate welded to door post sheet metal only . THESE ARE THE ONLY MODIFICATIONS PERMITTED ALL OTHERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
1. Any hardtop automobile/station wagons are allowed. All glass, headlights, taillights, windshield, windows, chrome, etc. must be removed before entering the fairgrounds. It may not be removed at the track. No tires, wheels or metal parts etc. inside.
2. Batteries must be moved to and secured in passenger floorboard and covered with non- flammable material or rubber.
3. Hoods can be bolted in six (6) places sheet metal to sheet metal only; if wired one place must be centered in the back of the hood. Number 9 or smaller wire should be used. Two bolts can go through core support to frame, and bottom of frame must be open. The hood must have whole 8" in diameter cut over the carburetor with breather cover.
4. Tire of choice is permitted
5. Welded solid or chain down engine mounts may be used. 4 chains only 16” max length
6. Any bumper permitted, bumpers can be welded or bolted to frame no extra metal can be added from frame to bumpers. Spears on the front or the back will not be allowed Welding of bumpers to body is allowed (2) places only strap 5”x 3” wide 1/8 thick max. Bumper can be 6x6x1/4 max
7. Roll cage surrounding the driver compartment cannot exceed 4”x4”pipe or tubing must be horizontal in car and must be above the steering wheel. Bars can be inside the doors but cannot connect to frame or floor boards in any way. Rear bar cannot be any further than middle of back door .
8. All doors may be welded 5 on 5 weld (weld5”, skip 5”) 3"x1/8" max strap. No interior seam welding permitted. If questioned driver may be asked to cut hole for officials. One 4”x4”x1/4”x32” angle may be added to top of core support welded to sheet metal only.
9. Gas tank protectors permitted may touch package tray but not connect in any way
10. NO FRAME PAINTING OF ANY KIND!!!! IF PAINTED CAR WILL NOT RUN

11. Coil springs may be replaced with leaf springs. NOTHING LARGER THAN 3/4 TON TRUCK SPRINGS Only factory leaf springs are allowed. No more than 7 leafs with clamps no wider than 2 inches 2 clamps in front of rear end and 2 clamps behind rear end per side. Total of 4 per side only. . Springs may not be wider than 2 3/4 inches and 1/4 inch thick. NO WELDING LEAFS TOGETHER. NO PINS HOLDING LEAF SPRINGS ONTO SHACKLES. COIL SPRING cars may run hump protectors 22” long x 6” wide ¼” thick contour of frame. Either leaf springs or hump plates NOT BOTH!!!!!!

13. Boxes for leaf hangers can be no larger than 4”x4”x’6”x ¼ “thick

. No plastic fuel lines . Tanks should be securely fastened and must be covered with rubber. A maximum of 5 gallons of gas is permitted. BOAT TANKS OR FUEL CELL , METAL LINE THROUGH FIRE WALL 2"ON EACH SIDE. No duct tape or electrical tape is permitted to make a seal on the fuel line. Electric fuel pumps must have cut off switch.
20. CARS can Not be crushed down, deck lids can Not be tucked !!
21. BODY MOUNTS can be replaced. ALL THREAD can be used 3/4"max for body mount bolts, WITH BOTTOM HOLE IN FRAME LEFT OPEN. !!!
22. CARS MUST BE STOCK UNLESS MODIFICATIONS STATED IN RULES!!!
23. No frame welding or loading. ONLY WELDING ON FRAME ALLOWED WILL BE FRAME HORNS, BUMPERS OR SPECIFICATIONS in these rules AND to cut and re-weld flaps to tilt nose on new style fords.
24. Officials and fairboard reserve the right to re-inspect, drill, or cut any car at any time.
25. Factory cooling systems are not required. Radiator must be in factory location. Radiator protector permitted . Transmission coolers may be moved and lines must be covered with rubber hose. Ice coolers may be used...

27. Drivers door must be painted white and have a visible number. THIS MUST BE DONE! Fee may be charged to paint door YOU WILL NOT RUN UNLESS THIS IS DONE!
