**Gm 3800 and other motors in the same platform**

So when carb swapping a 3800 you still need the f wire? And do you need the computer at all?

Got a few years of do derbies now and starting to build more cars than just running stock. Seem to be alot of 3800 cars around by me have personally ran 2. I'm wondering what makes the 3100 so much more desirable than the 3800? L
