Not familiar with that type of slider. How much do you have it set to slide?

Honestly I can’t remeber exactly now, but I think it’s about 3-4 inches.

Are you sure that's enough. I run long slip yokes with more slide than that. Are you running a gas tank protector pinned in tight?

I didn’t really think about that, maybe I should cut it down and give it a little more. I am planning on running a gas tank protector. Don’t know if it will be tight to the package tray but I’m gonna get it as close as I can.

Use a porta power to shove it tight before you weld it to the seat bar.

Not sure where you are running that one but shove the gtp tight and put a couple bolts in it. If you're running it at Franklin just make sure you don't have any leaks, the battery is tight and the brakes work.

just my observation but it doesn't look like you have any slide on that slider? Cut out of both ends so if you cut 4 out of one side cut 4 out of other. I have had to cut everyone of mine. Have at least 4 inch of travel and you should be good. Tri oval have alot inside them so you shouldn't screw yourself if you run a short tail or longer car at some point.

Yeah I think I am going to cut it down a little. Looked at it last night again and noticed I have a lot less there then I thought. Beginners mistake I suppose. Wasn’t paying enough attention to it when I put it on.

That's why we are trying to help. [br And I greatly appreciate the info. I’d possibly still be scratching my head if it wasn’t for the tips.
