**Semi stock full size: This class is designed as a mainly oem class, Simple class with no gray areas. 1st rule is no aftermarket parts such as DP's, steel bell housings, Trans protectors, truck or after market trans cases, extreme cradles, etc., no stubbing, no frame swaps. no tilting.
****If its not in the rules you CANNOT do it!
**Preparation: All glass, lights, chrome, plastic, carpet, header panels, hubcaps, complete trailer hitches, gas tanks and debris etc must be removed.
**Safety: Helmets, eye protection, and protective clothing required! All air bags must be unbolted and removed, no cutting out just air bag.
**Gas tanks and battery (up to 2) automotive must be relocated. Gas tank on floor behind driver or centered behind driver on floor or off rear bar, battery box on front passenger floor area. Must not be used to strengthen car. Any gas tank protector must come off rear bar and be at least 6" off floor...can be tight to rear seat tin but no altering of tin in any way... NO WIDER THAN 30"
**Hoods and trunks : Hood (4)spots chains (36") or wire (4 loops) or rods to secure hood. If using rods, maximum is 3/4" in diameter and 2 must run through core support (4" max spacer)in front and 2 may run sheet metal to sheet metal only. Trunks 4 spots with 4 chains (30") 4 wires (4loops) or 2 rods, and 2 chains or wire. Rods must go through factory body mounts vertically in back, or welded to frame between mounts only. Hood, and trunk top plates not to exceed 6" by 6" square. Hood must be cut out for fires with maximum 4 bolts 3/8" per opening. Trunks may have 90 degree bend but must have 50% stock location. No bending down or wedging, simple 90 degree bend that's all. 2 chains in windshield opening to protect from hood. Tailgates 4 chains only 36" long, no threaded rods in tailgates of wagons.
**Body Forming: You may body form but no wedged trunks, 6" max dish.
**Doors : 2 spots per vertical seam 30" by 3/8 chain or 1 6 inch weld with 2" by 6" 1/4 plate max. drivers door may have unlimited.
**Safety cage. Basic 4 point with halo bar. Consists of dash bar above steering, 2 door bars mounted to dash and seat bars middle height area of door, 1 bar behind seat positioned midway height of seat horizontally. No bar larger than 6" in diameter, No plate to mount bars larger than 8" square. No kickers, just safety chain to sheet metal directly down from center of rear bar if only running rear bar. Halo bar off rear seat bar only, may be bolted to roof tin in 2 spots. Door bars may not go further back than 6" from center pillar or further forward than dash bar.
**Body bolts" May be replaced with up to 7/16" bolt max, body pucks may be removed. Washers no larger than 3" to be used. Do not get creative here.
**Transmission coolers are allowed but must be securely mounted and not do anything other than cool the trans. No trans protector, or steel or aluminum bells except contoured ultra, no steel tails, no aftermarket or truck trans cases, only stock mount or remove, stock cross members only, or 2x2 steel tube. May have aluminum ultra bell on previously broken trans and needed to be able reuse trans. Only mid plates are to change trans bolt pattern with no more than 1" wider.
**Engines: Vertical headers yes, Engine swaps yes, (VERY basic) engine cradle will be allowed with factory or after market frame mounts but must have rubber grommets. Pulley protector ok but must not at any time touch sway bar or instant DQ.
**Suspension: 15" minimum to lowest point of rear frame or bumper, 20" maximum to bottom of front bumper. You may use spring spacers, straps, bolting (1/2") bolts, or rod (3/4")max from lower a-arm to bottom of spring bucket to obtain this only, (2) 2"x6" straps per side must go directly down to spring bucket. 1 spot per side up to 3/8" diameter by 30" chain can be used to hold in springs for rear end on sedans or wagons. No rods in rear shock area. (No reinforcing of suspension components). You may use watts conversion 1/4" or less or weld in pkg tray for 98-02s, and no more than 1" overlap for tray.
**Rear ends: Any factory rear end, can be reinforced with any size axle. No homemade rear ends and cannot reinforce car in any way. Pinion brake ok. Must use stock OEM control arms.
**Frames: No welding other than brackets for bumpers, or where specified in rules, you may dimple or notch rear frames.
**Bumpers of choice, may be reinforced. Substitute maybe be rectangular steel no wider than car, max 6" tall by 6" wide max up to 3/8" thick. Recommend welding stock chrome to make a factory appearing bumper. No filling aftermarket. You may hard nose but all shocks must be removed, Or shocks and brackets in factory position may be welded with single pass, no front and rear bracket swaps. No welding further back than 8" from center of core support hole.
I will allow 2 spots per bumper of wire or chain. May go to core support or frame only not around threaded rod or hood. Nothing excessive or you will remove it all. 5 3/8" fender bolts allowed per fender.
**Steering...aftermarket or homemade steering.. After market brakes and shifting components are fine, just do not reinforce car in any way with these components.
**Tires of choice up to 30" tall, valve stem protectors ok.. Any wheel that started as a factory wheel, no bead locks.
ONLY AFTER MARKET PARTS** gas pedal, steering , transmission or floor mounted shifter nothing hanging down near cross member, dash or bar mounted brake unit or plate for manual brakes..basic engine cradle..aluminum factory type radiator in factory position, and slider drive shafts.
****80 and newer metric cars will be allowed a (1) per side 3/8" 18x4" rear hump plate centered on rear hump.
****Gas tank protectors will allowed off rear seat bar only, no wider than 30" by 4" at the rear seat area, they may touch but do not alter floor to make tighter or you will be loaded, must be 8" off floor.
****rear window bars will be allowed, no more than 4" in diameter, bolted or welded to roof, and bolted only with 2 bolts in speaker deck and 2 bolts in trunk lid.

**Any car we cannot see inside front fenders we will drill and scope for anything added**
1. Compacts 4-Cyl. & 104” Wheelbase or less
2. PREPERATION: All glass, plastic, fiberglass, and chrome moldings must be removed prior to your arrival to the facility. Station Wagon rear floor door must be removed. No broken windows in doors. No flammable materials such as carpets, upholstery or headliners can be left in the car. Cars MUST be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk area. Both rear seats and insulation blanket under the hood MUST be removed also. Dashboards may be removed as well.
3. BODY: NO WELDIND OF INTERIOR SEAMS!!! Wheel wells may be cut up to 3” (max.) to allow for tire clearance. Folder wheel well lip in 1” intervals- you may use bolts; NO welding. (8) Bolts (max.) per wheel well. Sunroofs must be filled with a security fastened sheet. Front lower fender may be cut or folded to allow tire clearance- you may use (2) bolts (max.) NO welding. Rubber body mounts may be removed. Body bolts may be replaced with stock or up to 5/8” (max.) bolts. Bolts may be lengthened to travel though TOP HALF of frame and inside vehicle ONLY, with nuts 3” washers. Only the interior 3” washer (not nuts also) may be welded to inside of vehicle. Equal size flat stock drilled out, as washer is acceptable. NO ADDITIONAL BODY BOLTS MAY BE ADDED ANYWHERE! Rust spots may NOT be fixed.
4. HOOD: 6 hold down by rod chain or wire. Hinges count as two spots if left in Only 2 spots to frame by core support 1" rod max or 36" chain max. Other two spots 3/4" rod max sheet metal to sheet metal by bolting only.
5. TRUNKS/TAILGATE: Trunks may be tucked. But NO WEDGING, or have a WEDGE like effect. Must be secured with either (4) chains, #9 wire, or threaded rods. Threaded Rod’s aren’t to exceed ¾”in diameter. When securing the trunk, ONLY (2) of the (4) trunk attachments can be connected to the vehicle frame. The other (2) must be sheet metal to sheet metal by bolting. When using the threaded rod, the (2) rods going to the frame must remain vertical. Bending around the frame; will be NOT permitted. On tailgates you may weld (2) plates of steel per vertical seam, NO larger than 4”H x 4”L x ¼”Thk. Chains and wires aren’t to exceed 24”L and may NOT wrap around more than (x2). Washers or metal plates may NOT exceed 6”L x 6”W x ¼”Thk. Sedans are allowed, but you may NOT chain or bolt the roof down in any way; and MUST remain free.
6. DOORS: NO welding of interior door seams!!! You may weld the driver’s door around the exterior seam with either 3/8” rod or 3”W x ¼”Thk steel plate. Remaining doors, you can put (2) chains or (2) 4”H x 4”L x ¼”Thk steel plates per vertical seam.
7. WINDSHIELD: Must have (2) chains or (2) steel straps, no wider than 4” running from the firewall to the roof of the vehicle.
8. BUMPERS: Compacts and Mid-Size may replace plastic or aluminum bumpers with a bumper off from a similar make or model of car. Bumpers off from 1979 & newer full size bumpers are permitted, but MUST trimmed to original bumper size. All mounting brackets mounted to the back of the bumper, frame or shocks; may be welded. NO adding any steel!!! NO welding bumpers to the body of the vehicle. Top skin of bumper may be welded to inner bumper structure, but may NOT be stuffed. 21” Maximum bumper height from bottom of bumper to the ground. 14” Minimum bumper height from bottom of bumper to the ground.
9. INTERIOR: With the exception of floor shifters, all holes in the floor MUST be patched. Driver’s seat and DOT approved seatbelts must be securely mounted.
10. CHASSIS: Vehicles MUST have factory stock, upper and lower core supports. No seam welding on core supports. (NO FILLING FRAMES WITH ANY TYPEE OF MATERIAL). Interior bars are HIGHLY recommended. This consist of (1) bar across the dash. MUST remain above factory steering column bracket. (1) Bar NO more than 12” behind the driver’s seat, this bar must remain 18” from the floor and remain horizontal. You may use interior door bars on both sides, remember NO kickers of any kind!!! Bars may be mounted on a 6”H x 6”L x 1/2”Thk steel plate. Bars may be welded or bolted to the steel plates. Any bars up to 6” Dia. Are acceptable. Bars MUST be chained or wired to inside of vehicle. Rollover bars are permitted, but MUST remain vertical ONLY! You may bolt or weld the rollover bar to your seat bar ONLY. Your rollover bar may NOT attach to your frame or body! Bar’s may NOT run any type of KICKERS. Trailer hitches and mounting brackets MUST be completely removed before arriving to the facility. You MAY use stock or modified steering in all classes, You may reinforce tie-rod ends with angle iron or rod-iron, BESIDES back to the 90’s. NO sandblasting, painting, or under coating any part of the under body of your vehicle.
11. REAR-SUSPENSION: 21” Maximum Height from the bottom of the bumper to the ground, and 14” Minimum Height from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. This will be strictly enforced! You may use up to (3) clamps per set of leave springs. Or (3) spring spacers, will be allowed, but MUST be SAFE!!! Official’s decision will determine the safety. You may run (2) 3/8” chain cables or wire to support the rear humps, NOT to exceed (1) loop, cable, chain or wire per vehicle side. This may be NO longer than 36”L.
12. ENGINES/MOTORS: You may swap motors in any class. Firewall may be beat back, or cut out for distributor clearance. Distributor protectors and/or coil protectors ARE allowed, in the Compact and Mid-Size Class. NO engine or pulley protectors are allowed. Basic motor cradles, WILL be allowed. Motors may be chained to the frame, and motor mounts may be altered to strengthen. This provided, doesn’t strengthen the frame. Carburetors must have an air cleaner on it, NO exceptions. Hand throttles ARE acceptable. Headers and stacks are permitted, but MUST remain vertical.
13. RADIATORS: Must be in stock location of vehicle. You may use a Radi-barrel, or stock radiator. But MUST remain in stock location.
14. BATTERIES: (1) or (2) batteries are permitted, but must be located on the passenger side floor board. This needs to be securely mounted to the floor.
15. TRANSMISSION: Transmission coolers are accepted in any class. Coolers must be securely mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle. Must be approved per an official.
16. GAS TANKS: NO FACTORY GAS TANKS will be permitted. You MUST have an after-market fuel cell; steel ONLY… 6 gallon maximum.
NEW for 2015… You may now run a gas tank protector; it is allowed to come off from your rear seat bar to rear hump (where the back of the back seat starts to go up). Also new for 2015, you may now run a back window bar. This will be coming from the roof to the trunk deck lid and speaker deck seam; bolts may NOT penetrate the trunks floor. You will only be allowed to mount with a 6”W x 6”L steel plate.
17. BRAKES: Must have functioning breaks at the start of every heat or feature.
18. TIRES and RIMS: Any ply 12”-16” tires are permitted. Maximum allowances of 26”T x 7”W. Doubled tires, tubes or solid rubber tires are permitted. NO studded tires, wheel weights, doubled rims, or split rims!
Semi stock midsize:
Mid-Size 4-Cyl. And 6-Cyl.,8-Cly ONLY, no full framed cars. No wheel base over 113"
Cars must have all airbags and charges removed by unbolting not cutting out just air bags. You must remove all glass and carpet, headliner, in addition to flammable materials though dash may remain intact . All mirrors, chrome, plastic, fiberglass header panels, factory gas tank , hitches must be removed.
*Hoods and trunks: 4 Spots Maximum in each...Choice 4 chains (24"), 4 spots wire (4 loops) maximum,or combination of 2 3/4" threaded rod at core support area only with 2 chains or wire. Trunk choices 4 chains, wires, or plates (6x2x1/4") or 2 3/4" rods and 2 chains, 2 plates (2x6x1/4") or wire... 12" round or square hole cut in hood in case of fire. All hood and trunk hold down plates to not exceed 6x6x 1/4”, __ body forming allowed just do not over do it...4" dish in trunk lid max__, but you will be allowed 1 90 degree bend in trunk lid. no more than 50% of lid.
*Doors: 2 chains (24"), or 2 plates per vertical seam 2" by 6" by 1/4" plates. Drivers door unlimited except on fender side.
*Wheels: Aluminum may be changed to steel, no reinforcing.
*Tires: May be doubled or tubed no taller than 26"
*Engines: No protectors, may convert to carb (cut out hood enough to be safe), stock mounts. may run vertical headers out hood,
*Suspension must remain completely stock, but may weld in small angle or washer on strut to obtain height with cars with bad struts. 18" max to bottom of front bumper.
*Rear seat bar must run from door post to door post mid height of seat horizontally, may be contoured for room. You may run a 4 point cage consisting of a dash bar, back bar and 2 door bars. 4" max material, must come off rear seat bar, gas protectors ok..off rear seat bar 6" off floor, tight to rear seat area. 30" wide .. Can be taller than tank, but not excessive.
May run halo bar off rear seat bar bolted to tin in 2 spots of roof in case of roll over.
*Gas tank ( steel only ) on floor behind driver or off rear seat bar centered in car. Chained, bolted or steel strap to secure not bungee cords. Use proper fuel hose, and clamps.
*Battery on passenger front secured to floor in steel or wood enclosure bolted to floor.
*Front bumper: May be swapped with 80 and newer full size steel, or any yr rear steel automotive bumper. If you cannot find steel bumper you may use tube steel up to 6" tall by 2" wide by 1/4" thick no wider than car, no pointy aftermarket. You may mount by bolting or welding but no added steel in doing so except needed. Nothing may extend in the frame past the core support, or be pinned with threaded rod.
Stock style radiators only. No radi barrels. In stock location.
MINI Vans:
* Engine:
4 or 6cyl. V8's allowed, and engine must be left stock. Can use headers up thru hood.
*4wd’s must remove front driveshaft.
* Doors:
Drivers door can be welded solid. All Other doors can have 2 chain or wire per door seam.
* Safety:
You can have a basic 4 point cage (seat bar, dash bar, and door bars) for drivers safety. A seat bar is mandatory. tubing can be up to 3” by 3” in diameter. You can have a gas tank protector ,no wider than 24'' wide and 6" off floor but must be attached to rear seat bar only.
* Tailgate and hatches:
Tailgate must remain vertical and in factory position or taken off. 2 chains or 2 wires, or 2 6"x3"x 1/4" plates per seam to secure lid.
* Tires
Doubled, skid steer, forklift or tractor tread tires are allowed. 31” max
height. You may use tubes in your tires, double tires ok. Remove all wheel weights before
inspection. Rims must be stock. No one piece home made rims allowed.
* Hoods:
Can have 4 chains or 4 threaded rods max. Only 2 threaded rods can go to frame in core support area. Threaded rod can be up to 1'' in diameter. Hood
plates for threaded rod can be 6”x6” max. you must have a 12" hole cut in hood incase of fire.
* Front Bumpers:
You may replace with 80 and newer steel, any year steel rear automotive or 6" tall by 2" deep by 1/4" flat steel bumper welded or bolted on.
* Rear bumper:
Must remain OEM or be taken off. No trailer hitches or brackets allowed. They must be completely removed before inspection.
* Frames:
No welding allowed anywhere on frame.
* Battery:
The battery must be relocated inside passenger side floorboard area of
Vehicle and securely mounted.
* Gas tank:
The gas tank must be in the front part of the box. Mini vans must have gas tank behind the driver’s seat. Gas tank and fuel lines must be securely mounted.

(8) Bolts (max.) per wheel well. Sunroofs must be filled with a security fastened sheet. Front lower fender may be cut or folded to allow tire clearance- you may use (2) bolts (max.) NO welding. Rubber body mounts may be removed. Body bolts may be replaced with stock or up to 5/8” (max.) bolts. Bolts may be lengthened to travel though TOP HALF of frame and inside vehicle ONLY, with nuts 3” washers. Only the interior 3” washer (not nuts also) may be welded to inside of vehicle. Equal size flat stock drilled out, as washer is acceptable. NO ADDITIONAL BODY BOLTS MAY BE ADDED ANYWHERE! Rust spots may NOT be fixed.
4. HOOD: 6 hold down by rod chain or wire. Hinges count as two spots if left in Only 2 spots to frame by core support 1" rod max or 36" chain max. Other two spots 3/4" rod max sheet metal to sheet metal by bolting only.
5. TRUNKS/TAILGATE: Trunks may be tucked. But NO WEDGING, or have a WEDGE like effect. Must be secured with either (4) chains, #9 wire, or threaded rods. Threaded Rod’s aren’t to exceed ¾”in diameter. When securing the trunk, ONLY (2) of the (4) trunk attachments can be connected to the vehicle frame. The other (2) must be sheet metal to sheet metal by bolting. When using the threaded rod, the (2) rods going to the frame must remain vertical. Bending around the frame; will be NOT permitted. On tailgates you may weld (2) plates of steel per vertical seam, NO larger than 4”H x 4”L x ¼”Thk. Chains and wires aren’t to exceed 24”L and may NOT wrap around more than (x2). Washers or metal plates may NOT exceed 6”L x 6”W x ¼”Thk. Sedans are allowed, but you may NOT chain or bolt the roof down in any way; and MUST remain free.
6. DOORS: NO welding of interior door seams!!! You may weld the driver’s door around the exterior seam with either 3/8” rod or 3”W x ¼”Thk steel plate. Remaining doors, you can put (2) chains or (2) 4”H x 4”L x ¼”Thk steel plates per vertical seam.
7. WINDSHIELD: Must have (2) chains or (2) steel straps, no wider than 4” running from the firewall to the roof of the vehicle.
8. BUMPERS: Compacts and Mid-Size may replace plastic or aluminum bumpers with a bumper off from a similar make or model of car. Bumpers off from 1979 & newer full size bumpers are permitted, but MUST trimmed to original bumper size. All mounting brackets mounted to the back of the bumper, frame or shocks; may be welded. NO adding any steel!!! NO welding bumpers to the body of the vehicle. Top skin of bumper may be welded to inner bumper structure, but may NOT be stuffed. 21” Maximum bumper height from bottom of bumper to the ground. 14” Minimum bumper height from bottom of bumper to the ground.
9. INTERIOR: With the exception of floor shifters, all holes in the floor MUST be patched. Driver’s seat and DOT approved seatbelts must be securely mounted.
10. CHASSIS: Vehicles MUST have factory stock, upper and lower core supports. No seam welding on core supports. (NO FILLING FRAMES WITH ANY TYPEE OF MATERIAL). Interior bars are HIGHLY recommended. This consist of (1) bar across the dash. MUST remain above factory steering column bracket. (1) Bar NO more than 12” behind the driver’s seat, this bar must remain 18” from the floor and remain horizontal. You may use interior door bars on both sides, remember NO kickers of any kind!!! Bars may be mounted on a 6”H x 6”L x 1/2”Thk steel plate. Bars may be welded or bolted to the steel plates. Any bars up to 6” Dia. Are acceptable. Bars MUST be chained or wired to inside of vehicle. Rollover bars are permitted, but MUST remain vertical ONLY! You may bolt or weld the rollover bar to your seat bar ONLY. Your rollover bar may NOT attach to your frame or body! Bar’s may NOT run any type of KICKERS. Trailer hitches and mounting brackets MUST be completely removed before arriving to the facility. You MAY use stock or modified steering in all classes, You may reinforce tie-rod ends with angle iron or rod-iron, BESIDES back to the 90’s. NO sandblasting, painting, or under coating any part of the under body of your vehicle.
11. REAR-SUSPENSION: 21” Maximum Height from the bottom of the bumper to the ground, and 14” Minimum Height from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. This will be strictly enforced! You may use up to (3) clamps per set of leave springs. Or (3) spring spacers, will be allowed, but MUST be SAFE!!! Official’s decision will determine the safety. You may run (2) 3/8” chain cables or wire to support the rear humps, NOT to exceed (1) loop, cable, chain or wire per vehicle side. This may be NO longer than 36”L.
12. ENGINES/MOTORS: You may swap motors in any class. Firewall may be beat back, or cut out for distributor clearance. Distributor protectors and/or coil protectors ARE allowed, in the Compact and Mid-Size Class. NO engine or pulley protectors are allowed. Basic motor cradles, WILL be allowed. Motors may be chained to the frame, and motor mounts may be altered to strengthen. This provided, doesn’t strengthen the frame. Carburetors must have an air cleaner on it, NO exceptions. Hand throttles ARE acceptable. Headers and stacks are permitted, but MUST remain vertical.
13. RADIATORS: Must be in stock location of vehicle. You may use a Radi-barrel, or stock radiator. But MUST remain in stock location.
14. BATTERIES: (1) or (2) batteries are permitted, but must be located on the passenger side floor board. This needs to be securely mounted to the floor.
15. TRANSMISSION: Transmission coolers are accepted in any class. Coolers must be securely mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle. Must be approved per an official.
16. GAS TANKS: NO FACTORY GAS TANKS will be permitted. You MUST have an after-market fuel cell; steel ONLY… 6 gallon maximum.
NEW for 2015… You may now run a gas tank protector; it is allowed to come off from your rear seat bar to rear hump (where the back of the back seat starts to go up). Also new for 2015, you may now run a back window bar. This will be coming from the roof to the trunk deck lid and speaker deck seam; bolts may NOT penetrate the trunks floor. You will only be allowed to mount with a 6”W x 6”L steel plate.
17. BRAKES: Must have functioning breaks at the start of every heat or feature.
18. TIRES and RIMS: Any ply 12”-16” tires are permitted. Maximum allowances of 26”T x 7”W. Doubled tires, tubes or solid rubber tires are permitted. NO studded tires, wheel weights, doubled rims, or split rims!
Semi stock midsize:
Mid-Size 4-Cyl. And 6-Cyl.,8-Cly ONLY, no full framed cars. No wheel base over 113"
Cars must have all airbags and charges removed by unbolting not cutting out just air bags. You must remove all glass and carpet, headliner, in addition to flammable materials though dash may remain intact . All mirrors, chrome, plastic, fiberglass header panels, factory gas tank , hitches must be removed.
*Hoods and trunks: 4 Spots Maximum in each...Choice 4 chains (24"), 4 spots wire (4 loops) maximum,or combination of 2 3/4" threaded rod at core support area only with 2 chains or wire. Trunk choices 4 chains, wires, or plates (6x2x1/4") or 2 3/4" rods and 2 chains, 2 plates (2x6x1/4") or wire... 12" round or square hole cut in hood in case of fire. All hood and trunk hold down plates to not exceed 6x6x 1/4”, __ body forming allowed just do not over do it...4" dish in trunk lid max__, but you will be allowed 1 90 degree bend in trunk lid. no more than 50% of lid.
*Doors: 2 chains (24"), or 2 plates per vertical seam 2" by 6" by 1/4" plates. Drivers door unlimited except on fender side.
*Wheels: Aluminum may be changed to steel, no reinforcing.
*Tires: May be doubled or tubed no taller than 26"
*Engines: No protectors, may convert to carb (cut out hood enough to be safe), stock mounts. may run vertical headers out hood,
*Suspension must remain completely stock, but may weld in small angle or washer on strut to obtain height with cars with bad struts. 18" max to bottom of front bumper.
*Rear seat bar must run from door post to door post mid height of seat horizontally, may be contoured for room. You may run a 4 point cage consisting of a dash bar, back bar and 2 door bars. 4" max material, must come off rear seat bar, gas protectors ok..off rear seat bar 6" off floor, tight to rear seat area. 30" wide .. Can be taller than tank, but not excessive.
May run halo bar off rear seat bar bolted to tin in 2 spots of roof in case of roll over.
*Gas tank ( steel only ) on floor behind driver or off rear seat bar centered in car. Chained, bolted or steel strap to secure not bungee cords. Use proper fuel hose, and clamps.
*Battery on passenger front secured to floor in steel or wood enclosure bolted to floor.
*Front bumper: May be swapped with 80 and newer full size steel, or any yr rear steel automotive bumper. If you cannot find steel bumper you may use tube steel up to 6" tall by 2" wide by 1/4" thick no wider than car, no pointy aftermarket. You may mount by bolting or welding but no added steel in doing so except needed. Nothing may extend in the frame past the core support, or be pinned with threaded rod.
Stock style radiators only. No radi barrels. In stock location.
MINI Vans:
* Engine:
4 or 6cyl. V8's allowed, and engine must be left stock. Can use headers up thru hood.
*4wd’s must remove front driveshaft.
* Doors:
Drivers door can be welded solid. All Other doors can have 2 chain or wire per door seam.
* Safety:
You can have a basic 4 point cage (seat bar, dash bar, and door bars) for drivers safety. A seat bar is mandatory. tubing can be up to 3” by 3” in diameter. You can have a gas tank protector ,no wider than 24'' wide and 6" off floor but must be attached to rear seat bar only.
* Tailgate and hatches:
Tailgate must remain vertical and in factory position or taken off. 2 chains or 2 wires, or 2 6"x3"x 1/4" plates per seam to secure lid.
* Tires
Doubled, skid steer, forklift or tractor tread tires are allowed. 31” max
height. You may use tubes in your tires, double tires ok. Remove all wheel weights before
inspection. Rims must be stock. No one piece home made rims allowed.
* Hoods:
Can have 4 chains or 4 threaded rods max. Only 2 threaded rods can go to frame in core support area. Threaded rod can be up to 1'' in diameter. Hood
plates for threaded rod can be 6”x6” max. you must have a 12" hole cut in hood incase of fire.
* Front Bumpers:
You may replace with 80 and newer steel, any year steel rear automotive or 6" tall by 2" deep by 1/4" flat steel bumper welded or bolted on.
* Rear bumper:
Must remain OEM or be taken off. No trailer hitches or brackets allowed. They must be completely removed before inspection.
* Frames:
No welding allowed anywhere on frame.
* Battery:
The battery must be relocated inside passenger side floorboard area of
Vehicle and securely mounted.
* Gas tank:
The gas tank must be in the front part of the box. Mini vans must have gas tank behind the driver’s seat. Gas tank and fuel lines must be securely mounted.
