Then no tips needed. Weld everything, tie everything together and weld more until you can't weld anymore and make it as safe for you and competitors as possible

Why use a shocker? The good thing about them is they are good in basically stock or slightly modified shows. It would be easier to use a full framer if you want to plate and weld, unibody isn't the easiest to plate and reinforce.

^^^ exactly my thoughts but there are some folks ya Cant tell anything, I agree 110%though. Kind of a waist of a Shocker imo. Just nnot enough there to work with when building a pro mod against full frame cars

Even so as much as I love shockers and pinche framers and even y framers. I love them all but even I wouldn't build one as pro mod. Not that they won't hang with others because they will. But soooo much easier to start full frame and only have to do half as much and much easier to weld to full frame

As far as pro mods go. Start with something that sucks or is cheap. You're gonna be adding a dumpster of steel anyway.

Never understood the point of people starting with an Imp or a Roundy for a pro mod. You're making it unbendable with no rules, start with something cheap and useless.
Like paying $300 for a 74 Chevy bumper to load when you can load a $50 dollar bumper and be just as strong.
