I've built both and the only difference I can tell is 98-02 have internal hump plates, doubled k frame and the frame is larger in the front. My rules are pretty stock so no kickers, or dp, but we are allowed to tilt which they both were. They both stayed straight from firewall forward but both pushed the front wheels back into the firewall. The plus I saw was the 98 didn't kink the humps. My question is what really makes 98-02 more desirable?

non protector shows they are all about the same. I actually like the humps better on the 97 and under with no hump plate rule unless it a 98...

I see what your saying, but they both had almost the same outcome except the humps blew on the box Vic.

I have had box fomoco's bend the horns. Bubbles have better horns from my experience.

frame is wider (bigger) up front, watts link is a pain but around here its more of an ss class style build, wire car build rules but all your fancy parts (craddles, whatever rearend, sliders) other than that wire rules so we can use the ztr conversion brackets so we can use our good rear ends, 98-02 would be better IMO, like the way box vics look tho
