Chain & Go Super Stock Rules:
This class is a Super Stock Class. Build to rules not the gray blanks between the rules. It’s impossible to cover every gray area of the rules, use your common sense when building. *No 1973 & Older Imperials or Hearses are allowed. Chrysler V Bumpers are not allowed. This class is open to Old Iron or 80’s & Newer.*The following is not allowed in this stock class: distributor protectors, reinforced tie rods, reinforced control arms, reinforced trailing arms, creasing body panels. No tipping or cold bending of frame. No frame repairs at all.* Welding is only allowed for the following: Motor mounts, bumpers, spider gears(and in noted areas where pre ran cars are bent)1. Remove all glass, chrome, plastic, moldings, headliner, dash, flammable material, a/c coolant, antifreeze, trailer hitches and interior decorating.2. Stock gas tanks must be removed. A small metal tank must be mounted in the rear seat area. The tank must be very secure and covered. Use proper rated fuel lines, plastic tanks must be in a metal box. NO Exceptions.3. Electric fuel pump allowed.4. No more than (2) batteries allowed which must be relocated to the front passenger floor,secured and covered.5. Hoods must have at least a 12” X 12” opening, in case of fire, if not running headers.6. Floor shifters, ignition and wiring (hotwire) modifications allowed. Bumpers1. You may weld any car bumper to the frame or 3” x 3” X 3/8” tube max, leaving ends open. Must be straight contour, if you use a tube you must weld chrome on it to appear stock. 1⁄2” wide pass around bumper to frame or shock. Body Mounts1. Core support bolts can be changed to 1/2 “bolt, 5” x 5” washer. Rubber mount must still be in place. If you have a broken bolt, you may change that one only. Leave the rest as is. If all body bolts are changed, you will not run.
Hood & Trunk1. Hood and Trunk must be open for inspection. After you pass inspection, you may wire or chain your hood in six spots, trunk in four spots using 3/8 chain max. One chain per hole or two strands of #9 gauge wire per hole. Nothing may go around the bumper or frame. This is sheet metal to sheet metal only. Chain & Go Super StockDoors1. Only driver’s door may be welded shut for safety. Doors must be chained or wired shut, using 2 chains per door max. No chains or wire may go around the frame. Drivers Cage/ Roll Bar1. You may have 4 point cage which consist of 1 dash bar, 1 bar behind seat, 1 bar along drivers and passengers’ door. Connecting the four bars is allowed by welding. Cage cannot be attached in any way, to the frame or body mounts. You may run a roll bar which can be attached to roof in two spots. You may have one outside driver’s door bar no more than 2” past the door seam. Rear‐ends1. You may run a five lug car type rear end, no truck rear ends allowed. No rear end braces period.
Engine / Drive Train1. Transmission coolers allowed but lines must be safely protected. Motors may be swapped, example: Ford to Chevy and so on. Slider or stock drive shafts are allowed
Tires1. Any car or truck tires are allowed.
Plating on pre-ran cars 1. Cars that have been pushed down bent back or ripped rom frame may be plated within reason. 2. Up to 1/4” plate may be welded to only one side of the frame and no more than 2” past the bend. 3. Inspectors must be able to see where frames have bent if it does not pass there will be option to cut plating off or load inspectors also have final decision and will not put up with any crying thanks

Compact Car Rules: This is a front and rear wheel drive class Compact car wheel base must not be more than 110 inches Only 4 or 6 cylinder engines allowed in compact class. Cage 1. You may have a full cage inside of car, dash and seat bars are allowed for driver safety. All cage bars may be connected to eachother but only connected to the floor in 4 spots. None of the cage bars can be attatched to the frame in any way. 2. Placement of bars, bars cannot extend past the firewall and rear cage bar has to be 6” back from center of the car. If running a distributor protector dash bar must be atleast 5” away from the firewall. Distributor protector must never come in contact with the dash bar. 3. Rollover bars are allowed but must retain within the safety cage area Doors, hoods and trunks 1. Driver side door bar is strongly recommended 2. All doors must be chained bolted or welded shut. If welded use (2)- 4x4x1/8” thick patches per door seam 3. Only 4 hood pins allowed.. only rods connected to the frame can be the front two at the core support. Nothing past the center of the wheels. No welding to the frame. 4. Trunk; may have (2)-4x4x1/8” patches per seam and up to 4 pins with only 2 that may attach to the frame ,pins must go through body mount holes. Gas Tanks 1. All gas tanks must be removed from stock position. 2. Absolutely no plastic gas tanks 3. Gas tanks must be mounted in rear seat of the car fastened securely and covered 4. Gas tank protectors are allowed as long as they are not welded to the back of the rear seat panel. May connect to cage no more than 24” wide Cooling system 1. Radiators must be in stock position 2. Radi barrels may be used and must be mounted in stock position 3. You may choose to not run a cooling system at all Engine mounting 1. May be modified to hold engine in place but may not strengthen the car. If we feel that you are reinforcing the transmission in any way to strengthen the car you will be asked to cut the metal. 2. No ultimate engine cradles. 3. Engines may be welded or chained in two spots one per frame rail 4. No more forward than the water pump pulley and may not go the first spark plug on the engine block. 5. Engine mount plate that is welded to the frame cannot exceed 6” of welding on the frame. No rear engine mounts allowed at all 6. Transmission protector is allowed, but may not attach to the frame or brace to across member in anyway. This is a transmission protector only not a reinforcement piece Distributor Guards 1. Cannot be connected to dash bar or firewall. 2. That includes being welded and spacers or extensions of any kind. No reinforcing the firewall of any kind. 3. Distributor guard cannot touch dashbar at anytime will result in a DQ!! 4. If running the distributor protector dash bar must be 5 “ away from firewall Frames 1. Seam from A-arm forward may be welded top side of the frame only ½ inch wide. 2. Absolutely no straightening/ reinforcement of the frame in any way other than what is stated in rules. 3. You may clip pre ran cars with single butt weld with no metal added must use make and model of frame …ex. Ford to ford gm to gm 4. You may run rear hump plate on one side per frame rail no more than 3” wide ¼” thick X 18” long only. If hump plate is more than specified you will have to cut it completely off. Suspension 1. No leafing non-leaf cars 2. Max of 9 leafs with 1” stager. Factory leafs only no homemade leaf packs allowed 3. Spring clamps are allowed upper a-arms may be folded down to the frame and welded no adding metal to weld a-arms. 4. Lower A-arms may not be welded, you can change out the new style a-arms for old style. 5. Rear end must be max of 5 bolt pattern Batteries 1.All batteries must be securely mounted inside the front passengers compartment and covered. Tires 1. 13” 14” and 15” tires only any ply any tread 2. NO Studded tires Body Bolts 1. Body mounts may be removed and replaced with 1” max bolts and 4”X4” washers 2. You may have 2additional body mounts throughout the car body. Body bolts cannot exceed 6” in length. 3. Washers on bottom side of frame cannot be welded. Bumpers 1. Any automotive bumper allowed as well as stuffed bumpers. NO homemade V-bumpers. 2. Bumpers may be welded on, this includes all bumper brackets. Brackets may be no longer than 8” from front of the frame. Again Cannot reinforce the frame in any way. 3. NO adding of iron to mount the bumper Plating for pre-run cars 1. Cars that have been pushed down bent back or ripped from the frame may be plated. 2. Up to ¼” plate may be welded to only one side of the frame and no more than 2” past the bend. 3. Inspectors must be able to see where frame was bent. Full Size Semi Truck Rules:
All general rules apply to truck class. Only ½, ¾ & 1 ton trucks, or suburbans are allowed in this class. 4X4 trucks are allowed however the front drive shafts must be removed. Gas Tanks 1. Gas tanks must be mounted in the box of the truck next to cab. 2. Absolutely no plastic gas tanks allowed. Safety Cage 1. Safety cage can be welded or bolted to frame in 4 spots 2. Kickers from cage cannot exceed the front of firewall or exceed rear of driver. 3. Roll bars can be bolted to cab in 4 spots, and kickers can be mounted to bed floor not the frame. 24 inches behind the driver. Kickers off roll bar have to be at least 4 inches in front of rear front leaf spring shackle. Box Mounts 1. 6 additional box mounts to hold box in place. 2. Box mount washers can be no bigger than 6X6X ¼”. Suspensions Factory A arms can be welded .. 1. A arm trucks may have solid front suspension 2. A max of 10 leaf springs with 1” stager on rear, 8 leaf max with 1” stager in front end. 3. Spring clamps are allowed. Tires 1. Any air tires allowed no bigger than 16.5 “ tire. 2. All split rims must be welded. Hood 1. Hood must be bolted or chained, using 4 hood pins or 4 chains. 2. Front Hood pins may be mounted to the frame. 1” max with 4”X4” washers ,other two must be sheet metal to sheet metal only . No kickers allowed . Frames 1. plating, doubling ,or boxing allowed on inner side of the frame from firewall forward only! You will cut if it goes past..NO adding cross members 2. Bend repair- 2” past bend ¼” thick plate on 2 sides per bend. If it doesn’t pass you will have the option to cut plates off completely or load. 3. There will be no adding of iron to the fenders or core support to strengthen them. Cooling System Radiators must be in stock position. 1. Radi-barrels may be used and must be mounted in original radiator position and may have one guesset per frame rail no more than 4” tall 2. You may choose to not run a cooling system at all. 3. Electric fuel pump and transmission coolers are allowed. Body Welds Doors, Tailgates, Box & Cab may be welded or chained. If welded you may use 4” wide by 1/8” thick. Engine Mounting May be modified to hold engine in place. 1. Engines may be welded or chained in two spots, one per frame rail. 2. No more forward than water pump pulley and may not go past the first spark plug on the engine block. 3. Engine mount plate that is welded to the frame cannot exceed 6” of welding on the frame. You may run rear end engine mounts only to secure engine, 1 mount per side.. Bumpers 1. Any automotive bumper front or rear. You may run stuffed bumper, homemade V-bumpers allowed with the center of the V to backside of bumper cannot exceed 8” 2. Bumpers may be welded on with angle iron no more than 4”X 4” X 1/2” 3. You may choose to use a 4”X4”X 1/8” square tubing no longer than 60”. Chrome skin must be welded over.

Complete Stock Compact/midsize car Rules
Frames: No welding on frames, must remain completely stock. Wheelbase: Front wheel drives only. Engines: Must be 4 or 6 cylinders only. Can use header through hood. All windows, interior, lights, plastic must be removed before competition. Battery and gas tank must be relocated inside car and securely fastened to floorboard. Only steel boat tanks or fuel cells allowed in competition. Batteries and gas tank must be covered. Front Bumper: Front bumper must remain stock compact bumper, can be welded using 3x6x1/4” thick plate. NO full size or tube steel front bumpers in this class. Rear bunper must remain stock or be taken off. 4 point cage may be used: Recommend at least a seat bar from door post to door post and must be welded or bolted in. A seat bar, dash bar, and door bars, you may have a rollover bar mounded off seat bar. You may have a gas tank protector around gas tank or fuel cell. Gas tank protector can be attached to seat bar only 24” wide max and have at least 1” between protector and sheet metal. You must be 2 chains, wires, or 2 pieces of metal strap steel in windshield area vertically for drivers safety. Doors: Drivers door may be welded solid. All other doors can have 3 chains per door, 1 chain per seam. Hoods: Must have a 12” hole cut in them in case of fire. You may use 4 chains or wires to secure hood. Trunks: Trunks can be secured in 4 spots, 4 chains, or 4 wires. Suspension: must be completely stock. Tires: 30” max height, 8 ply or less dot tire allowed but NO tractor tread, forklift or skid steer tires allowed. You may use tubes in your tires. No tire flaps allowed (NO extra rubber or sidewalls between rm and sidewall of factory tire.) Be sure to remove all wheel weights before inspection. Rims must be stock automotive type. NO one piece solid homemade rims allowed.
These classes are intended for people to have fun without spending lots of money.

General Rules for All Classes If you have any questions call Chase Gorres (715)9772819 NO ALCOHOL allowed in pit area. If driver and/ or pit crew is caught with alcohol, you have disqualified yourself. Judges decisions are final. Judges have the right to disqualify any car or driver for not obeying the rules. Any harassment towards the judges, by the driver, pit crew or driver’s family/ friends in the stands, will result in disqualification of driver /car and you will be shown the way out! Must be 16 years of age with written parents consent. Must have proof of age. 1. There will be no substitute drivers without prior approval from the judges. Any substitution without approval will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any winnings. 2.Cars must be at the grounds at least one hour prior to the start of event. Safety, Drivers Door & Roof Sign Safety First 1. All drivers must wear a helmet and eye protection at all times while on the track. 2. All vehicles must be equipped with a working seat belt which must be wore at all times. 3.All vehicles must have glass and chrome trim removed prior from entering the grounds. 4. No Trailer hitches. 5.All vehicles must have working brakes at start of event. 6.Any disqualification due to a driver’s door hit will be decided by the judges. Judges decisions are final. Any questions see above Judges section. Hoods / Roofs All hoods must be open for inspection! 1. A hole must be cut in the hood in case of fire. All drivers must have a fire extinguisher in their vehicle at all times. 2.All vehicles must have a number sign on roof secured properly. Minimum size is 12”X12”. Gas Tanks, Cooling Systems & Batteries Gas Tanks 1. All gas tanks must be removed from original stock position 2. Absolutely NO plastic tanks of any kind. 3. Gas tanks must be fastened securely. 4. Gas tanks must be covered. Cooling System Transmission coolers and electric fuel pumps are allowed. Batteries Batteries must be mounted inside the passenger’s front compartment. Batteries must be fastened securely and covered.

Lawn Mower Derby Rules Clear Lake Demolition
All mowers must have stock motors
No Mower decks are allowed
Everyone must wear a helmet
Must weld leg guards on lawn mower
Extra welding may be added to the front but has to remain stock looking
Bumpers need to be added to the rear of the mower
Any tires may be used on lawn mower
Pay outs 1st $125 2nd $50 3rd $25 with trophies

***** just wanted to make a note for the big car chain class a lot of talk going around that there may be cars coming that are tipped and some that have braced rearends, just so that there is no confusion come Saturday on the rules I thought I would make special note of it in case someone was making a long travel... just trying to stick to the rules and be fair thanks

Thanks
