I have been notching right at the end of the bumper shock, then one more about halfway between that notch and the base of the humps.

Dimple, double dimple, window cut, pie cut, notch, and prebend are all ways to help convince the rear bumper that you prefer it not to lay on the ground.

I've seen some make a U-cut to prevent rails from getting torn off.

I prefer dimple over cut but jmo if we all built the same it wouldn't be as much fun! i'm just happy whenever I see a metric gm trunk go up and I smile knowing that dude did his research and put in the time

This is my first gen build..Did alot reading.gonna try alot different ways build it Honesty I wouldn't try too many different ways to build these. If you can afford to experiment then go do it. The only reason I would ever tell someone not to experiment is: All the good info on where to cut/ notch etcetc. is all here and is no secret. And it works is the biggest reason. However there are ways of getting it to go up and stay straight longer. Pm me if you want to know.

You need to.cut, notch, or fold the bottom of the rear 1/4s because its too strong and interferes with the frame doing what you want it to do.

Fine. No more post from me for a while. Ive caused enough trouble lately. I wasn't being serious. I guess I should end everything with lol but I feel a little gayer every time I use the expression. Oops I'am not gay or homophobic. Seriously
