I know it's probably been asked before, but if u can help me out or point me in the right direction it would very much appreciated. Is it possible to put metal inner fender wells out of another vehicle in them. I know u could change the clip but then I have a gm without a front clip. Anything helps. Thanks.

Run em and roll the fronts up nice and tight and bolt em to your core or run your allthread through em.

Ive seen many olds clips ran without metal fender liners. I have even seen them put on old caddys. Personally I have never ran them simply because they dont have metal fender liners. If I were to run them Id grab a set of old caddy, metric GM, or whatever liners and cut/fold/bolt/weld as needed to make them fit. I have no actual experience to offer because I have not ran an olds clip yet on anything.

I personally like olds clips. Core support not so much. I was very skeptical and always changed mine to Chevy until I was forced to run what I had. Beleive me the inners don't help you out that much unless you are rolling them and shaping them to add rigidity. Don't be afraid of them! Embrace the lack of steel. Now if you've talking blizzard bash builds just ignore everything I said.

Around here Dusty Gilges loves the Olds front ends and he's plenty successful.

Use your imagination, bolt it up, and let it fly. There's no inner and outer fender to bolt together, but there's plenty to tie to on the inside... The most important part, IMO is tying your outer fender into the core support.... I was skeptical of Olds clips for years, but there's nothing to worry about..

I agree with hitmhard, I kind of toed the fenders back onto themselves with long bolts over top the wheels and tied core support to fenders better and it worked well.
