Buddy of mine has a mid-90s Town Car that he wants to run in a total street stock class but the anti-theft is tripped not allowing the car to fire. How can he bypass it or at least reset it? Thanks

Try locking all of the doors, then unhooking the battery for about 10 minutes, then put the key in the drivers door before hooking the battery up(leave it in a few minutes before unlocking) then unlocking the door and firing her up.
I'm not sure if this will work for you or not, but it worked to reset one for me

If the pats shuts down the injectors, why can't you find the wire from the pats to the pcm and fool it by either grounding it or feeding it power? There has to be a way to turn the injectors on, I would think.

I got an 01 crown Vic, no keys. I was told the pats was inactive because it has an aftermarket remote start. The ignition is drilled out, and turns with a screwdriver. The engine cranks, has fuel to the rail and spark, but won't fire. Thinking the pats shut the injectors down. Coughs and sputters on starting fluid. When I picked the car up the ignition was already drilled and when I put the jump pack on, it started up by itself. Now I can't get it to fire. Security light is not on. Any ideas for a fix?

If i were to take a computer from another car and put it in one that the pats anti theft has tripped, would it trip the new one?
