for what kinda class? Lay tailgate flat weld in. Push rear pillars in or cut entirely out. Smash roof flat down inside. And then fold.quarters over and weld it all together cut hole to see out off. Notch like it's a sedan

To be honest. a true sedagon has steel welded between floor an roof. An the all threads all go through it

limitted weld rules, 73 chevy. The tailgate is welded halfway down already. It seems easy to talk about it but the roof actually doesnt fit between the fenders/fenderwells so I assume people smash them into a u shape. looks to me that a backhoe is the answer to wad all this metal up. Any pics of the roof sitting on the floor would be great if anybody'd share.

I'd use a porta-power to push the quarters out and get the roof down in. I'm not a fan of cutting metal away if I don't have to.

leaf. I've ran this one several times, just wanting to get another run out of it since imo the 71-3 are the best roundies made

I'd look into some of that backhoe action you were talking about.. Cut, cram, repeat.. Dont have to look pretty if its already beat up.. Just needs all the cut stuff to be solid..

You would be suprised how much a few welds helps in tbe process.

You would be suprised how much a few welds helps in tbe process. Exactly the entire process should have welding then a little tweaking then welding. And it doesn't take much to make it a lot easier on you and harder of a car.
