What category would a 77 Riveria be under being is the 76 and older ones are their own category but the rest of the midsizes didn't go metric until 78?

1977-78 are the same as metric gms.

That is what I was assuming. I built a 77 last year and the humps blew out just like I had seen before in a metric and the car definitely did not act like a 77 Malibu I have built previously.
Found 2 more 77 Rivys and was probably going to pass on them, and now that I know they are metric, I definitely am going to pass on them.

I ran one bunch of years ago. Fronts are pretty stout. and rear are like any other gm and the fenders don't help them out at all either factory body lines kinda point toward the ground also. I'd run another if I came across one...
