needing helping figuring out which wiring i need to keep and wiring that i can get rid of on my 89 ford crown vic . im new to the efi motors all help is appreciated! if someone had a diagram that would be great

The trick is to disconnect wires while it's running and see what happens. Essentially the two round plugs on the back of the engine and the plug going to the front of the distributor are the important ones. Also keep all of your grounds.

way way better off just slapping an intake, carb and distributor off an older motor on it. way easier, quicker and more reliable.

I'm not trying to start an argument (I personally only run SBC with a 2jet), but a buddy that I build cars with took off all the unnecessary wiring out of his 87 Town car (he didn't have the time to track down an intake), won a show with it. Then decided he liked having the EFI, pulled that setup out of the Town car and put it in a 74 F250 and won with it. He says he loves it and it has never hiccuped.
