is there anything different done to a police edition caprice from Texas the a normal caprice?
never had a chance to buy one before just wondering if better or no different

Nothing worth mentioning for derby use really.
Slightly stiffer suspension package and some had an axillary oil, trans, and/or power steering cooler.
That's all I've ever noticed.

When we built Luke's bubble cop car it had a rare, special half circle cut out of the window frame on the drivers door.
Most say it's for the spotlight but I think it makes the door frame a thousand times stronger.
Yes, I'm an azz hole but it's about the same logic as some special diamond frame BS.
Long story short, they're nothing special compared to a civilian model.
