So i got a cheap 350 from a 1987-1988 suburban and it seems to be tbi. How should I go about converting this to carb the easiest? I have read through a lot of threads and it seems to just turn into a tbi vs carb debate. Will grabbing a 2 bbl intake, carb, distributor, and messing with the center bolt holes on intake work? Thanks guys.

Yes, you can get it to work, but intakes for them are cheap enough to just buy one.

If it's an 87-88 then it will probably be drilled for a manual pump

A lot of the tbi heads just did not flow that good and had a tendency to crack,a set of 441 heads seems to work well, the cam gear is a lot bigger on some of these and had a mean pretty mean chain like an implement kinda chain, rpm prefomer and a edelbrock carb,1" CARB SPACER will wake it up a bit, I got lucky and had the hole for the fuel pump and the lobe on the cam as well, thats my two cents
