I cant weld the a arms down in my car, how much height will I gain by putting bigger springs in the front?

I cant weld the a arms down in my car, how much height will I gain by putting bigger springs in the front? If you remove the rubber bump stop from under the a-arm you will get a couple inches until the arm hits the frame.

Depends on what kind of car, what kond of springs, and what kind of spacer (if any) you are using.

79 tbird, rubber bump stop is gone, using springs out of a 70s ford pickup that are 17 inches tall. Might use a spacer not sure yet

Everyone talks about the springs making you gain a bunch of height...
They can only make you gain as much as the A-arms will allow until they touch the frame.
Will they add stiffness? Yes, but I've always done this with stock springs and spacers or bolting/welding them down.
If the stock arms don't allow enough height then you have options like changing spindles, changing arms, or tire height.
Idk... JMO

I use 1-ton superduty diesel Springs. It's nice running a shop and installing a lot of lift kits.

Maxes out the a-arms till they touch thetouch the frame. Makes the front very stiff but still has bounce.
