So I just changed the start in my 1980 buick regal and after I changed it, the car ran perfect. The next day I went to drive it up to the shop to do some welding and the starter kicked in for maybe a second or two and then quit, the battery is fully charged, don't know what the problem could be. I cleaned the terminals on the battery cable thinking it had a bad connection but still nothing.

Before I installed it, I hooked it up to a battery and it spun perfectly, think it could be the connection to the starter? Maybe I didn't put it on tight enough
