Just bough an 89 crown Vic. It has the aluminum wheels on it. Any pros or cons to keeping these wheels and running them or should I find some steelies to run on it?
Rules are pretty stock derby. Have to be factory wheels with no more than a 4 ply tire. We can tube them and add an outside flap for protection.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Steel rims bend, aluminum rims break.

You should be able to scrap the aluminum ones for plenty enough to scrounge up steel wheels and spares even

Scrap the aluminum rims for the steel rims you need.
