Looking for a bit of direction on my driveshaft search for a '76 Gran Fury. I was hoping for an "off the shelf" solution rather than have one made, but so far I've come up empty as the mid-70s Cs are rare around here. Need a shaft to connect a 727 (29-spline) to an 8.25.
My car has the 121.5" wheelbase, so I figure that rules out the similar year 124" wagons/Newports/etc...
Would a shaft meant for a 727 to 9.25 work with an adapter u-joint? Are they the same length?
Or is there any shaft from an older C-body (pre-73) that's the same length?
Thanks in advance.

what ya need is a driveshaft out of another shocker (1974-78 C body mopar sedan)with same yoke for tranny and rearend you plan on using.Any other driveshaft will have to be shortened or lenghtened to fit right.I personally don't like the adapter u joints myself.
