Any good ideas besides notching the frames or running hump plates to keep these from going down

Beat the centers in on the frame from basically body bolt to body bolt over the humps. Then hit square with it until it folds up. Also don't set the rear too low on these cars. Iv only had one go down and that was caused from a bad hit I took.

I've had really good luck with creasing the humps and dumpling the frame. Just make sure that the first few hits with the rear is square. You can also cut a few relief holes in the quarters to allow them to clasp up.

They all seem to kink eventually no matter what you do. Beating them in helps but won't stop it.
