What is the best setup in a car for a manual trans want to covert over from auto to a 3 or 5 speed

Might not be much help, but the NV3500 is the exact same transmission Dodge used. I've asked about it before, and was told they're not known for being robust.

Muncie is a popular setup. The nv is a top loader and the clutch arm faces the passenger side instead of the driver.... I've broken saginaws so I don't suggest those

I run saginaws. They will break. But anything will break. Ive heard muncies are better but Ive seen them break too.

We run saginaw's in are hobby stock there lighter than a Muncie they seam to hold up well and there's not a lot of difference in the two that I have found.
