Really depends on your rules. They are better midsize or compacts than fullsize typically however some rules make many cars competetive.

No wheelbase, limited weld compact class...besides aren't rules just a technicality anyway? Lol

I've seen a few. I wouldn't call them stellar cars but they did compete and keep up somewhat with the other cars in the class.

its a subframe car with rails similar to a metric chev. but the back is unibody with leaf springs. pull the body mounts. bolt up tight. add extra mount threw subframe if allowed. straight hardnose with the nova bumper. very good bumper really. u joint steering. id put a better rear in it.

I have a 12 bolt setup with 4:56 gears, a bumper from a 76 Catalina. I will be running f78 14 on rear with 700-15 steer tires up front. Was planing on hard nosing and pulling mounts am adding 3 on each rail, 2 extra leaves in the rear and a u joint steering shaft. Was looking for pics or videos to see how and where they bend. Thanks for the info.

Down bars to the back of the sub or right behind fire wall mounts to would help alot and thread rod up thru the rear uni body. All depends on your rules and your abilities
