Yeah I've never had an issue with wd40 and I'll continue to use it since it's free.

IT ACTUALLY PRODUCES HYDROGEN CHLORIDE GAS, AS WELL AS SOME PRODUCTS RELEASING PHOSGENE GAS, SAME AS WELDING ON GALVANIZED.. BAD, NASTY, BAD BAD..

Slow speed on a drill press with cutting oil and it goes right through nice and easy, just did it yesterday

I've always just used motor oil for lubing and cooling stuff. I just keep a squirt can around the shop. The other problem with brake clean is if it can get sucked into a furnace or heater, got sick many years ago cleaning engine parts with brake clean in a garage heated by a salamander heater It is however the best bee and wasp killer there is.

I made the mistake of brake cleaning spider gears before welding them........ That was some nasty stuff lmao

Igniting brake cleaner gives off a gas known to the world as mustard gas. Burning chlorine. Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards Guess I'll have to use something else to burn out windshield rubber.lol
