JM Motorsport Productions will be producing the first-ever Ohio State Championship at the Canfield Fair, with a total purse and awards of over $10,000.00. The date is Labor Day, Monday September 5th at 5:00pm. This event is open to three winners from every County Fair in the state of Ohio. Will be having qualifying events for drivers that didn't qualify at a County Fair and separate championships for 4 cylinder cars, 6 cylinder cars and 8 cylinder modified cars. $10k total for a "championship" derby? Youre not gonna get a car count with that payout. $10k for 1st, yes. $10k total, not gonna happen.

^^ X2 Most of the county fair shows around here pay roughly $20k total purse. I hope they aren't planning on using JM rules, because none of the cars from the county fair shows would pass inspection for their rules. I know mine wouldn't... That's a relief though, I'm not going to have to cancel the picnic I had planned that day... what kind of cars do they mean by modified cars like seam weilded body's and all the seams I mean

Just had a thought.... I'm guessing the only thing that makes a derby a "state championship" is the fact that a promoter calls it the "state championship"... So, if that is the case what's stopping another promoter from calling their derby the "state championship"? Us Ohioans need to get another promoter to put on a state championship and run these fools back to NY or wherever they came from... what are the rules can't find them on hear
