I was planning on throwing a set onto a 360. Bottom end is rebuilt but nothing specia due to funds. Has anyone ever ran these Edelbrock Performer RPM Cylinder Heads 60775? I'm just curious how the handle heat and if it actually give the motor a nice pep up.

bottom end was built on a tight budget but your gonna throw 2k at the heads??? make sure you have the the right cam and pistons to perform with the larger heads. if your short block is bone stock these heads are to much.

IMO,for what you have and what you are going to use this engine for,a stock set of 360 cast iron heads will work just fine.

Chrysler factory heads are actually decent performers, unlike some other brands out there. With stock pistons the factory heads are all you need. Just do a basic valve seat job and do NOT put in new valve guides. If you change the cam, just go a bump or two above stock. Do the rest with axle gear ratio. No sweat.
BTW there is a thread on Chrysler engines where this discussion really belongs...

Sorry posted in the wrong spot. I decided on just a valve job and run it. Next season I should have the funds for a 408 build then I'll probly she'll out the $$ for a new set.
