First off I would like to thank everyone that came to the show!! All heats was very fast paced!!and the crowd loved it. However there was some issues, as some people are not happy. I'm not going to get in details, but first off every inspector will miss somethings. Stuff gets over looked all the time anywhere you go. Did we pass it up on purpose?NO!! My crew even apologized for over looking it and putting the heat on me! Second if someone has a problem with someone else's car don't wait till the end to tell me. Come to me before so we can resolve the issue. Also if someone is welding in the pits, don't wait till the end to tell me. I feel that the night didn't go to plan for some teams and it all got put on the inspection. If the outcome was different for some teams, I think there would of been no issues. Just what I think! Thanks again for the ones that had a good time!!

I am hired from the fair board to inspect and flag. I have nothing to do with announcers. Did I think it was right? No. Does big Wylly like to have fun and joke around? Yes

I'm pretty sure as stated in the rules it said no painting of frames first off, and what about 3-3" welds per spring pockets? Im pretty sure the black and white black and orange teams had theirs fully welded around and plated on the bottoms, that whole inspection was shady AF it was supposed to be only 2 times thru or your not running and a couple had 10 minutes to get flag but neglected to hear it while they were putting stickers on and turned into about 25 minutes for their special treatment, you told us anything we had to cut had to be all the way through but barely scratching an x in a fully welded spring pocket that was all the down sides of frame is ok? ? I'm glad your all buddies I hope they paid the inspectors good out of the $10,000

As I went thru inspection I thought they were going to be fair but they were clearly not after my hand was shaken and telling me thanks for doing what they wanted, every spot where an 03^ will bend was fully welded and painted over but apparently that's ok by some inspectors eyes and they brush it all off after the demo was over like it was no big deal

There was 3 03^ fords that were nosed up and looked like a pretzel on one team Sunday night trust me they bend when the sides are not fully welded with a "spring pocket" when the rules stated 3-3" welds per spring pocket trust me everyone that has ever built or ran an 03^ Vic knows exactly where they bend

Well when you follow the rules and not fully weld a spring pocket they will bend or you can just have the inspectors in your back pocket and they let things slide I guess

On 2003 and newer fords you may use an 80's and newer ford steel cradle. They must be put in like there factory counterparts only using the factory brackets. No other metal may be used. They must be in factory location and cannot be moved forward. A-arm must be in factory location, no moving them forward. You may use a spring pocket off an older model. No more than 3-3'' welds on spring pocket. You may not alter frame in any matter other than attaching factory brackets and steel cradle. All components must only have a single bead of weld. All factory holes must be op Read more: we-crash.proboards.com/thread/53732/2015-erie-county-derby-sandusky#ixzz4HYGlTQwH

So essentially not only were the drivers having to deal.with getting their own car threw tech they had to inspect the other cars too.... on top of that certain teams wouldn't let you close.enough to look. I think the hole.story needs to be brought to light here. You and your guys let some pretty obvious stuff go and refused to act on it. The Canadian team that loaded won Thier heat so how was that not going as planned for them? Then for the announcers to make a mockery of them? A formal apology from him should come forward after all they traveled 5 hours to support you they could have easily gone anywhere else.
