well a 9" out of a 60s ford isnt a very good derby rear end, you can sell them to hot rod guys for $300+ and get a better rear. its just a leaf spring rearend so it requires almost zero brain power, measure and weld perches with appropriate pinion angle.

FIND A MORE SUITABLE CAR TO BEGIN WITH. THE REASON NO ONE HAS DONE ANY "SWAPPING" INTO THESE CARS IS THAT THEY ARE A TINFOIL KLEENEX BOX...... THEY WAD UP, AND NOT WORTH THE EFFORT BY ANY MEANS... JUST THE COLD HARD TRUTH...

^^^100% agree, you could burn rod for 12 months on one of these only to have a bone stock 77 New Yorker peel it open like a pop can in 1 bump. you could put half the work into an aspen, volare, diplomat, 5th avenue (FMJ body) and have 5 times the car.
