On street stock u can weld bumper to bumper bracket all the way around and u can weld the collapse point on the shock all the way around do not weld bumper shock or brackets to the frame in any way FRIDAY SEPT. 4TH @ 7:30 PM

Any American-made sedan or station wagon 2. Helmet, seat belt, and eye protection must be worn at all times. Long sleeves and Long pants required. 3. Any controversies or protests must be brought up during the drivers meeting. 4. Any questions call first. If it doesn't say you can don't do it. Cars must be stock. No painting of the frames. Ifthe car is black it must have a 12" x 12" roof sign. 5. Judges decision's are final. All cars are subject to re-inspection at any time before, during, or after the event. 6. All glass, plastic, and interior must be removed before arriving to the event. 7. Any car motor of choice is permitted. DISTRIBUTOR PROTECTORS .as wide as intake. ENGINE CRADELS A": allowed to hook to front lower bolts of motor and hook to motor mounts. NO MOTOR PROTECTOR. NO trans brace NO KICKERS . MUST USE STOCK MOUNTS. Can have ONE chain per side, going down TWO length welded 3/8 chain. No chains to top of frame.
8. Trailer hitches and braces must be removed. 9. A 14" x 14" inspection hole must be put in all deck lids. Deck lids MUST be in original position. on top where factory location. You may wedge or tuck rear of car. WIRE 12 double strands of #9 wire on deck lid can go to the frame or the bumper. Or weld every 5inches and skip 5 5 on 5 off if you weld no wire. 10. Original gas tank must be removed and replaced with a boat-type tank or fuel cell. Moved inside of car behind driver's seat but no further back than rear axle. 5 GALLON MAX If you have gas tank holder the back must be 5 inches from sheet metal . 11. Batteries must be moved to passenger side floor board and securely fastened. 12. You may weld drivers door. You can weld all other doors 5 on 5 off. OR Wire all other doors. Unlimited wires on doors. No wire in windows. Only weld or wire not both. 13. No interior seam welding will be permitted.( No repairing sheet metal except where the battery box and gas tank are.} 14. NO FRAME WELDING. You may weld the bumper and bumper shock. No adding metal. IF YOU WELD BUMPER TO THE END OF FRAME YOU MUST TAKE SHOCK OUT. 15. ANY CAR YEAR BUMPER permitted ON FULL SIZE ON MINI CARS 80 AN NEWER BUMERS ONLY NO SEAM WELDING ON BUMPER 16. Hood- wire ONLY. 12 double strand of #9 wire to sheet metal or front bumper. 17. Hoods must be open for inspection. (12" x 12" hole over carburetor) 18. Angles for cross member can't be longer than 5" and must be within 12" from factory location. 19. Tie Rods YOU CAN FIX TIE RODS 20. All gas tank holders Must be 5 inches from sheet metal 21. ½” inch body bolts max. MUST HAVE 1" SPACERS 22. Cars must bounce. 23. Rear coil springs may be wired or chained. No solid suspensions. All suspension components must remain factory stock. No modifications will be permitted. - 24. Front coil springs remain stock. You can use screw-in spacers. 25. Front bumper 21" or Rear bumper cannot be. lower than 16"". Frame may not be lower than 15" 26. You may use rear end of choice. Must be a 51ug rear end. No rear end protectors. Must use STOCK trailing arms. 27. Leaf spring cars must remain factory springs. NO EXCEPTIONS! 28. You cannot change coil spring to leaf spring set ups. 29. Cars must be stock. We have the right to RE-INSPECT, DRILL, OR CUT any car at any time. 30. No tilting frames. 31. Dash bar- no larger than a 3" x %" thick. No larger than a 4" plate welded to it. Must be 5" from firewall. Bar behind the seat- 3"x1/4" with 6" plate welded to it. No farther than 6" from seat. Must be within 3" from top of seat. Side bars ar allowed. ALL BARS MUST BE INSIDE CAR NOT IN DOORS. 32. IF YOU STRETCH A RULE YOU WILL LOSE THAT RULE.NO WELDS ON FRAME! The rules andl or regulations set fourth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the conditions of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATION OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND I OR REGULATIONS. STREET STOCK RULES 1980 & NEWER CARS ONLY
1. Must be 100% stock !! No cross breeding entire drive must be same make as car ( chevy to chevy ford to ford and so on) Must appear to be factory engine to car with stock exhaust. 2. Engine must be mounted with stock mounts in stock position. No welding of mounts bolted only. No homemade cross members, cross members must be stock and bolted in not welded 3. Doors must be chained or wired. No more than 6 places. 4. Trunks must be chained or wired. No more than 4 places. TRUNKS MUST BE OPEN DURING INSPECTION! Car must have deck lid and or tailgate No welding or adding metal. Trunk lid must be in stock location. No tucking, wedging, pre bending, smashing, folding or anything else you can think of. No welding washers for holes. 5. Hoods may be wired or chained in 4 spots. X chain or 2 strands per hole. It must be sheet metal to sheet metal only. No welding washers for holes. Must be 12" hole in hood in case of fire. Remove hood latch!!! Hood must be open for inspection. 6. .ANY TIRE PERMITTED DOUBLES PERMITTED, no foam filled tires no valve stem protectors 7. You may leave stock gas tank in stock location or you may relocate the fuel tank to rear floor of car if this is done you must use a fuel cell or boat tank no stock fuel tanks permitted inside of car. Must only have 3 gallons of gas. You may be asked to drain it if the gauge doesn't work. 8. Windshield may be left in car OR you can remove windshield! 9. The following must be removed prior to entering the fairgrounds, windows , headlights, taillights, all chrome and mirrors. Interior must be swept clean of debris and glass. 10. Stock type springs and shocks. No solid suspension. SCREW IN TYPE spring risers ARE OK, NO wire, chains or any weld on rear ends or rear spring pockets. Cars must bounce & cars must be STOCK!!!!! 11. YOU MAY WELD SPIDER GEARS IN REAR END TO MAKE IT POSI. NO GEARS PERMITTED 12 Paint front doors in contrasting paint. Example if the car is black paint doors white 13. Do not strip under the hood. Battery MAY be LEFT in stock location. But you may put rubber mat over it or spray with foam around it not excessively. Do not spray foam on anything else. YOU MAY MOVE THE BATTERY TO THE FLOOR OF THE CAR YOU MAY LENGTHEN CABLES TO THE REACH BATTERY ON FLOOR NOT THE WIREING HARNESS THIS WILL BE STRICKLY ENFORCED 14. YOU MAY USE AN 80 & NEWER BUMPER ON CAR THEY MUST BOLT ON IN FACTORY LOCATION AND MANNER YOU MAY WELD WITH 4 1” WELDS ON THE SHOCK PLATE TO BUMPER 15. Read all rules carefully and follow them! It will be a cheap easy build. Any questions call! There will be no stretching or bending of any rules or you will either run in the modified class or go home.

Someone ought to film this event. There are a few guys that may not know about the hit of the year contest-but they sure could win it! This is a high energy, old skool braggin rights trophy show. Cant wait!

Will these all be one shot deals or does anyone think there could be heats for any class? Might come watch but not sure if worth drive for 3 heats. Thanks for any replies.
