So I went digging through our bumper collection today and found a 78 Diplomat and an ltd bumper. Not sure on the year for the ltd. Both look similar with a small point. I'm used to Chevy stuff, granted my Buick is GM but I'm not leaving the factory bumper attachment either.
The car is a 75 Electra and I don't like the stock front bumper. The dippy bumper still has the shocks and brackets attached to it. The plan is to use these shocks similar to a Chevy setup regardless which bumper I use.
Which bumper would you guys run? I've never ran a diplomat or ltd so I dont know how hard they are really. They look decent but I want best match for my car.
So give your opinion and reason why. If I leave the Buick bumper on it, ill flip it upside down. I plan on welding them so keep that in mind also. Thank you for reading, I appreciate any and all input.

If the Dippy bumper is a Roscoe style with a backing, they are actually pretty decent bumpers.

By looks, I like the dippy bumper better.

That's not the style of bumper I was thinking it was. Don't have any experience with that particular style. Sorry.

No sir. I just planned on welding skin to steel and folding corners, then welding them to the backing.
I'm not even allowed to weld the bumps shocks but I wont need to after I'm done. Can't hardnose either.

Thought you said the Buick was rusty? Looks solid to me! I was thinking the same thing. Apparently he hasn't seen some of the junk I have ran. LOL Ive ran junk so rusty that they absolutely had to have a halo and little john bar just to keep the roof attached. Hahah
