Grandview will be having a points championship for old school cars and points series for trucks. Dates are June 13th,July 25th,August 22nd and October 3rd.

Iron Outlaws Promotions 2015 Rules/Regulations Old School/Semi-Stock Class General Rules: 1. All drivers must have identification. Drivers must be at least 16. Any driver under 18 must have signed consent from parent/legal guardian. 2. No alcohol permitted on fairgrounds. Any alcohol will be confiscated and not returned. We reserve the right to check all coolers. 3. DOT approved helmet must be worn while on track. Eye protection is not required but is encouraged. 4. Car must have working seat belts. Seat belts MUST be worn at all times on track. 5. NO SANDBAGGING!!! 6. 1 warning for driver's door hits, 2nd time you will be disqualified. Same rule applies for Passenger door hits with passengers. 7. No Refunds. If your car is found to be illegal, you will get NOTHING back, so don't bother asking. 8. You must make contact within 60 seconds and it must be aggressive contact. The officials will use their own discretion on deciding if hits are aggressive. 9. ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING WILL BE TOLERATED. FIGHTING WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC EJECTION FROM THE FAIR GROUNDS AND POSSIBLE ARREST. 10. Drivers will be assigned heats by the officials during the drivers meeting. 11. NOBODY on the track except officials, drivers, passengers, and emergency personnel. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS! 12. TOP 3 FEATURE WINNERS MAY BE FULLY INSPECTED AFTER THE SHOW BY THE OFFICIALS. The officials reserve the right to drill or cut anything in question; failure to allow this will result in disqualification and forfeiture of any winnings. 13. No driver changes unless approved by officials. 14. Drivers must keep hands inside vehicle at all times. 15. Rollover bars are mandatory.
Old Skool Class 1. Any year passenger car or station wagon only. No trucks, jeeps, hearses, limos, or checkered cabs. No Pre 1973 Lincolns. No pre 1973 Chrysler Imperials and NO Imperial sub frames 2. No Sedagons allowed 3. All glass, side windows, rear windows, headlights, must be removed before reaching the tracks. 4. All cars must have seatbelts and working brakes. No exceptions 5. Battery is permitted to be moved but must be securely fastened and covered in passenger compartment. Two batteries are allowed. 6. Mandatory front windshield bar required. Limited to 2” wide x ¼” thick strap or a chain/9 wire loop.
Radiator and Core Support
1. Radiator MUST be in stock position 2. Any automotive type radiator permitted, including Aluminum radiators 3. No homemade radiators permitted 4. One electric fan, may be used but MUST be mounted to the radiator 5. No reserve tanks. No added cooling capacity 6. ABSOLUTELY NO MOVING CORE SUPPORT
Gas Tanks and Fuel Pumps
1. Stock gas tank MUST be removed from original position and mounted in the rear seat area and secured. No chain or rubber straps permitted. All tanks must have a secure cap. A fuel cell or a marine tank is strongly recommended. Electric fuel pumps permitted. All lines and fittings must be leak proof and meet approval of track officials. 2. All lines should be double clamped. 3. NO ALCOHOL 4. All lines must be run inside car.
Body 1. No body seams may be welded. No adding metal. 2. No doubling of body panels allowed no added metal. 3. No body creasing. 4. Fenders may be bolted together. Max of 10 3/8” bolts ABOVE the fender well. 5. Doors may be welded, chained, or wired. Welding of the doors is the only welding allowed on car body. When welding doors 6 inches on 6 inches off all the way around. 6. NO CHANGING BODY MOUNTS!!
Suspension 1. Tie rods must have factory appearing ends, no heims! You may brace the center tube with angle or pipe. Aftermarket tie rods are fine, but must have a factory type end!! 2. Suspension must be original factory suspension for that car. Spring spacers are allowed. 3. NO SOLID SUSPENSION. Must have bounce!
Hoods MUST OPEN AT INSPECTION! 1. Hoods must have two (2) holes, at least four (4) inches in diameter on each side of the carburetor. Not directly on top of the carburetor. If the hood is removed, either the fan, or fan belt must be removed. 2. Hoods, trunks, and tailgates must be open during inspection. 3. Hoods can be welded shut with one of the following (but not both): A. (8) 2” long pieces of 2” x 2” angle with a single 3/8” bolt thru them B. (8) pieces of #9 wire attaching hood to fender 4. Hoods may be secured by 2 pieces of all thread outboard the radiator. Cannot be sleeved! 5. You are allowed unlimited #9 wire across the front of radiator.
Trunks 1. You may use 4 pieces of all thread to secure trunk lid. All thread MUST go through factory rear body mounts only. Washers may not be larger than 4 inches in diameter. No sleeving of all thread and no nuts directly under trunk lid permitted. 2. Trunk lid must remain on hinges 3. Unlimited #9 wire across the back can be used here as well from trunk to bumper and in 4 spots on each side, or 4 angle back to back with one 3/8 inch bolt in each. 4. Trunk lid may be v’d in the center, but must remain at least 10” off the trunk floor.
Safety Cages 1. All cars MUST have a safety cage and rollover bar. NO EXCEPTIPONS 2. A 4 point cage is required. It is limited to 4 points ONLY. Cage is required to have dash bar that must be 4” from firewall. Cage must have bar behind driver’s seat that is no more than 6” away from it. You must have two (2) side bars and they must NOT be farther than rear wheel humps. May also not extend past dash bar. Side bars may not be welded to rear humps. 3. Rollover bar cannot be more than 6” behind driver’s seat. Rollover bar cannot attach to frame. You may weld or bolt it to sheet metal only. A 6”x6” plate may be used in aiding the attachment to floor sheet metal. Rollover bar may be bolted to roof. 4. Cage may be made from 4” pipe or 4” square tubing MAXIMUM. 5. Cage may be welded to sheet metal only. Up to four (4) down posts permitted two (2) per side. No kickers to frame humps, front or back. 6. Gas tank protectors NOT allowed.
Frames 1. ABSOLUTELY NO WELDING, PLATING, OR REINFORCING OF THE FRAME. 2. Any reinforcing of frame found WILL result in disqualification. 3. All factory frame holes must be left open. 4. You can shorten the front frame only to aid in mounting front bumper. CANNOT BE MORE THAN THREEE (3) INCHES AND MUST NOTTOUCH FROUNT MOUNT. 5. Rear frame rail may NOT be shortened. 6. STEERING COLUMNS MUST REMAIN STOCK FROM GEARBOX TO STEERING WHEEL. Adding one knuckle is permitted. 7. Sub frame cars cannot be tied together 8. You may chain or wire your axle to the frame hump.
Bumpers
1. OEM Stock shock canister and STOCK bumper ONLY. Any bumper on any car. No rear bumpers or rear shock tubes on front. Must be mounted with factory material and in factory location. 2. You are permitted to bolt a chain from bumper to bumper shock at frame 3/8” max! 3. Bumpers may be welded on. NO ADDED METAL. SINGLE PASS 4. Bumpers may not be higher than 26” from the ground to the top of bumper or lower than 16” from ground to bottom of bumper. 5. Bumpers may be loaded on inside. OEM bumpers only. (DEC bumpers are permitted)
Engine and Transmission 1. Engine cradle allowed. Must use factory rubber mounted clams. No chains or gussets attaching anywhere from it. 2. Chained, welded, or homemade motor mounts will be permitted, but must meet approval of officials. (Nothing adding strength to car!) 3. Any engine or transmission may be used in any car, but must be mounted within 6” of the original motor. Engine MAY NOT protrude into the passenger compartment before derby. 4. Transmission coolers and engine oil coolers are allowed. Must be secure, contained, and covered inside the car, for safety of driver. 5. No skid plates. 6. Pulley protectors are permitted, but the sway bar must be removed or must be able to touch before or after derby! 7. No distributor protectors. 8. Homemade gas pedals and shifters are allowed. 9. Factory aluminum engine cradles in 2003 and newer cars may NOT be changed. 10. No homemade cradles.
Rear End 1. Any automotive type rear end can be used in any car. NO full floaters. 2. No aftermarket rear ends allowed. 3. Coil springs may be tack welded or bolted at the bottom ONLY! 4. Leaf packs on all cars must be OEM stock. 5. Models originally equipped with leaf springs must use stock leaf springs and hangers. 6. Slider drive shaft is permitted. 7. Gears are permitted 8. You are allowed 5 spring clamps per spring. 9. Rear end may be braced, but nothing connecting to the frame.
Tires 1. No solid wheels. Stock OEM only. Welding in wheel centers is permitted for multi lug use. You may not use full plates to add strength. 2. Any tires 15 inches or smaller.
The ONLY WELDING ALLOWED IS THE BUMPER, CAGE, DOORS, MOTOR MOUNTS, ANGLE ON THE HOOD AND TRUNK.
If it doesn’t say you can do it, DO NOT assume you can. ASK FIRST!
If you are found to be in violation of these rules, you have 2 choices: 1. Cut and remove illegal parts. 2. Load on trailer and go home. EITHER WAY, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND.

2015 Truck Rules 1. Any 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or 4 wheel drive pickup, blazer,bronco, or suburban allowed. 2. All glass must be removed. 3. OEM fuel tank must be removed from truck. 4. Any engine allowed. 5. Fuel tank should be moved to bed of truck against the front of box and securely mounted and covered. 6. Battery must be moved to cab and securely fastened and covered. 7. All trucks must have operational seat belts and belts MUST be on during the derby. 8. Doors must be secured by wire, chains, and/or welds. Tail gates may be slid down and welded shut. 9. Box and cab mount bolts may be replaced with up to 3/4 bolts and 4 inch diameter washers. You are allowed four extra body bolts in bed of truck. 10. Must have cage built inside of cab and can run back to front of humps. If you have no cage, you will NOT run. 11. Truck bumper ONLY allowed. No car bumpers or rear truck bumpers on front. 12. You may add 3 inch angle, pipe, or tubing behind front bumper between rails. 13. No reinforcement of frame or sheet metal allowed. 14. You may have two 2 in x 1/4 strap from radiator support to bumper. 15. Hood must be fastened with angle, wire, or all thread (up to 8 spots) 16. Holes must be cut in hood on side of carburetor to help in case of fire. 17. Bed may be bolted or welded to cab. 18. 4 wheel drive trucks must remove front drive shaft. 19. Trailer hitches must be removed. 20. No split rims. 21. Cradles and protectors are allowed.

Lawnmower Rules 1. Reinforcing is allowed but must be built from factory mower frame. 2. Engine must be a lawn mower type engine (Briggs, Kohler, Tecumseh, etc.). Engine may not be larger than 20 hp. 3. Transaxle must be factory mower rear end. Reinforcing is allowed to transaxle. No 1 inch axles or hubbed axles. 4. All mowers must run a factory hood and fenders. Hood must either be screwed or welded down. Homemade hoods are permitted but must be same size as factory hood. 5. Mower must have working brakes and forward and reverse gears. 6. Gas tanks are required to be bolted or strapped down and to have a good cap. If tank is under driver’s seat it must be moved to engine area in FRONT of driver. Any gas leaks on track will result in disqualification. 7. Leg guards are mandatory and must be bolted or welded on from rear fender to front of foot rest or frame. 8. Rear bumpers are permitted but must not extend more than five (5) inches out from rear fenders of mower. Bumper also MUST stay in between tires. No spikes or sharp edges. 9. Drive train modification is permitted but must remain belt driven. (Pulley swapping, adding and/or removing pulleys are allowed). 10. Wheels must be of lawn mower type. No solid fill. No dual wheels or rim protectors permitted. Tractor-tread and cut tires are allowed. 11. Steering components can be reinforced or replaced but they must stay mower style gear box. 12. All glass and plastic must be removed as well as the deck. 13. Batteries must be removed before entering arena. 14. No front bumpers. You may reinforce and/or plate the front of the mower to hit with but must be smooth flat finish. 15. Front plate may be connected to leg guards but at least half or more of the front tires must be exposed. 16. Your number must be visible on both sides of mower. 17. If driver rolls over, you are disqualified. Any part of driver body touching the ground will result in disqualification. 18. Any unsportsman-like conduct (ie: cussing, fighting or inappropriate behavior) on track will result in disqualification, removal from fair grounds and/or possible arrest. 19. Driver safety is first and foremost. It’s at the official’s discretion as to what is safe. If officials don’t think it’s safe, it will NOT run.

Mini Car Rules
1. 106" WHEELBASE RWD & 108" FWD (4cyl & 6 cylinder only) 2. Sedagons are NOT allowed. 3. All glass, side windows, rear windows, headlights and taillights, must be removed before reaching the track. Rolling down windows is not permitted. 4. Rear seat of sedan must be removed, top and bottom. On station wagons all seats and decking must be removed. Station wagons must be emptied to the floorboards. 5. Cars must have a seatbelt and working brakes. MANDATORY 6. Battery may be moved, but must be securely fastened and covered in passenger compartment. TWO BATTERIES ARE ALLOWED. 7. Front Windshield Bar is MANDATORY and is limited to a 2” wide x 1/4" thick strap or a chain/9 wire loop

Max of 10 3/8” BOLTS ABOVE THE FENDER WELL. 5. Doors may be chained, wired, or welded. Welding of the doors is the only welding allowed on the car body. When welding doors 6in 0n 6in off all the way around 6. NO Changing body mounts don"t touch them, except the rear most 4 and the front 2 at the core support

Unlimited #9 wire across the back can be used here as well from trunk to bumper and in 4 spots on each side. OR 4 ANGLE BACK TO BACK WITH ONE 3/8 BOLT IN EACH 4. The trunk lid must remain on hinges. 5. The trunk lid may be v’d in the center, but must remain at least 10” off the trunk floor.
SAFTEY CAGES
1. All cars must have a safety cage and roll over bar. 2. A 4 point cage is required and limited to 4 points only. Your cage will must have a dash bar that must be 4” from the firewall. Your cage must have a bar behind the driver’s seat no more than 6” away from it. You must have (2) side bars and they must not be farther than the rear wheel humps and must not extend past your dash bar. The side bars must not be welded to the rear humps. 3. Roll over bar cannot be more than 6” behind driver’s seat. Roll over bar cannot attach to frame. Weld or Bolt it to sheet metal only. A 6” x 6” plate may be used in aiding it to be attached to floor sheet metal. Roll over bar can be bolted to roof 4. The cage can be welded to sheet metal only. You can have up to four (4) down posts, two (2) per side. You must have a dash bar, a cross bar behind the seat and two (2) door cross bars. Nothing can be ran between the rear wheel humps or welded to the humps. No kickers to the frame humps- front or back. 5. Cage can be made out of 4” pipe or 4” square tubing, MAX. 6. All down tubes must be at or behind the dash bar, straight up and down. Welded to sheet metal only. 7. Gas tank protectors are NOT allowed, floating your gas tank off the floor is NOT considered a gas tank protector.
FRAMES
1. No welding, plating, or reinforcing of the frame. 2. All factory frame holes must be left open. 3. Any reinforcing of frame found will result in disqualification. 4. Sub frame cars cannot be tied together. If you want to run a full frame car, buy a full frame car, don’t build one. 5. You can shorten the front frame only to aid in mounting front bumper. CANNOT BE MORE THAN 3 INCHES AND MUST NOT TOUCH FRONT MOUNT. 6. aftermarket steering columns are ok 7. Rear frame rails may not be shortened. 8. You may chain or wire your axle to the frame hump.
BUMPERS
1. OEM STOCK shock canister and STOCK bumper ONLY. ANY BUMPER ON ANY CAR ,,NO REAR BUMPERS OR REAR SHOCK TUBES ON FRONT … Must be mounted with factory material and in factory location. 2. Bumpers may be welded on. NO ADDED METAL SINGLE PASS 3. YOU MAY BOLT A CHAIN FROM BUMPER TO BUMPER SHOCK AT THE FRAME 3/8 MAX 4. bumpers can be loaded on inside oem car bumpers only (DEC BUMPERS ARE OK) 5. Bumpers can be no higher than 24" from the ground to the top of the bumper or lower than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the bumper.

REAR END 1. Any automotive or aftermarket rear end 2. On models originally equipped with leaf springs, stock leaf springs and hangers MUST be used. 3. Leaf packs on all cars MUST be OEM stock. 4. Slider drive shaft is permitted. 6. You may have five (5) spring clamps per spring.
TIRES 1. Any Tires 15 inches or smaller. 2. No solid wheels stock OEM only. YOU MAY WELD IN WHEEL CENTERS for multi lug use (not full plates to add strength!).
The only welding allowed will be the bumper, the cage, doors, motor mounts, angle on the hood and trunk.
These are all outlined above. If it doesn’t say you can do it, don’t assume that you can.
ASK first or don’t do it!
Everybody needs to read and re-read these rules.
If you are found to be too built for these rules, you will be given 2 options. A. CUT OR REMOVE ILLEGAL PARTS. B. LOAD ON TRAILER AND GO HOME. Either way you will NOT RECEIVE A REFUND
