Full size mod pay out. $1000 $400 $150 $100 $50
Gut n go mini pay out. $500 $200 $100
Mower demo $300 purse
Power wheel demo
We will have one night of autocross. August 9th 1:00 pm start time Fullsize $400 $200 $150

Really like the gut and go pay out. Beats the heck out of 100% payback. Was looking at another show near by that has a set purse but you definitely beat the pay. Will wait to see rules.

We had a lions club meeting tonight and we decided to add a mini car auto cross. It will have a total of a $600 purse. That brings the total purse to $6350! That is the highest purse that the lions club has ever offered!
I will try to get the rules posted for all the classes soon.
For the full size mod cars: We are going to allow you to run to any mod class rules from central Indiana. NO OUTLAW OR 5' CARS!!! Bring your rules your built to with ya to the tech line. But just because you ran a loaded car at your town fair don't mean that you will pass our tech. It must be built to the rules that you bring with ya. This is a heavy or mod class, not for stocks, not for out law cars either. We will allow kickers behind the a arms, 8 lug rears, home made bumpers (no can openers), imperials. We will not allow skinned cars, loaded or plated frames (patches within reason acceptable).
I know this create questions so ask away!
I will post more on the other classes as soon as I can!

Gut n go rules
Any fwd unibody car with a 6cyl engine or less. Mini vans are acceptable.
All plastic, glass, bumper covers, ground effects, plastic body moldings, and trash must be removed before arriving at the fair grounds. The dash may stay intact. REMOVE AIR BAGS!
Stock gas tank may be used if it is in front of the rear axle. Each car will be judged on it's safety before and during the derby. If the tank becomes a safety concern you will be black flagged. A safely installed tank in the passenger compartment is allowed. 5 gallons of gas maximum regardless of tank type.
Battery must be moved and secured inside the passenger compartment. It can not move at all. If it moves it will not pass tech. Must be covered.
Drivers door may be welded solid. 1/8" thick strap no wider then 3". No over lap. May not exceed 3" pass door seam of front door. All others doors, hood, and trunk can use chain, wire, or cable in up to 6 places. It may go around the bumpers when fastening hood and trunk. Trunk and hood must be open for inspection.
A bar, chain, or wire must be in the windshield. It must run from top to bottom. This is to keep the hood from entering the car, not to strengthen the car.
Wheel weights must be removed from rims. You may run any tire that you wish.
A floating square cage constructed of 3" tubing or less may be used. No down legs. It may only go 6" behind drivers seat.
Bumpers must be oem for car. If your car has a plastic or aluminum bumper a similar one may be BOLTED in it's place with stock type hardware. No chrome faced bumpers will be excepted as replacements. Bumper must look factory for car. NO WELDS OF ANY KIND! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Other then the cage and drivers door there is not to be any welding on the car.
All drivetrain components must be oem stock. No alterations of any kind.
ALL CARS MUST PASS A GENERAL SAFETY INSPECTION. If it's not safe it will not run.
Roof signs are encouraged but not required.

Ok we had another lions club meeting last night. We are going to have mowers both nights that we have Derbys. They will have a $300 total purse each night. I will give the drivers who run the mowers a few options on how the pay out will be split. I need input for mower rules!
We will also have power wheel Derbys both nights of regular demo. No entry fee but the child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a pit pass. Each child will get a plaque or trophy. We will try to do a roll call of power wheel participants when the time gets closer so ensure we have enough awards.

Yes, appreciate it. If you know of anyone else interested in running tell them we are looking for feed back on what rules to use. We want a decent mower count if possible.
