Has anyone ever built one of these for a mini and how did the steering hold up?

I ran explorer at bash this year with the rack n pinion. No problems with it, but i would reccomend figuring something out with the stock. Aluminum joint that attaches to it. The one on mine broke rather quickly, steering was there, but almost non-existant

I have heard of the rack breaking. The front wheels are the weakest thing on the front of these in my opinion. I've ran them 3 times and have not had an issue. I bought 3 more explorers and the rack wasnt a deal breaker if that means anything. I just run stock shows.
