Are the mid 90s magnum motors any good? If they are what all do I have to do to one to carb it?

Yes, there is some guys on here that run them... I'm buying one this weekend so I can get it put together I'm time for my metal mayhem ride.... If I remember correctly it just takes the intake and carb which I have priced out on eBay, you also must run electric fuel, and most ppl swap it the water pump to old style... Anyone feel free to correct me

So do the older 2bbl intakes fit on these or do I need to buy a new intake

the older intakes only fit up to 1992. the magnums started in 94 and need a custom ordered intake to be able to run a carb. i've tried this one before without any success and wasted a good magnum bottom end in the process

I've been running one for two years have to buy an intake for the magnum then I use dist.,timing chain cover, water pump and pulleys from a LA block but with that said the price of the intake 320.00 I could of bought 2 LA 360s

And I had to buy a hei dist. My motor did not like points or the pertronix conversion
