Any one know what happen to the raffle car in the beginning of the heat? ? Think he was having a problem with the wiring harness. Not sure if battery cable came loose or if he just didn't get the kill switch in the right position. Diffinitely figured it out though. Good job bending that car.

I thought maybe the main wire popped off the cap but not sure. He reached down toward the distr and then she fired up on the next try....He did well, props to him.
I've been to Mayhem and if I ever go back I'll bring a good book and sell race fuel to the drivers. For a good time go to the Bash for Cash!

I'm a little curious about the welding on the control arm to frame on some of the 80s cars...saw some that looked 3" wide, and others that were barely welded or had a small piece of strap(less than 2x2) and had to cut. Is it the way they were welded??

If you think these are intelligent reasonable ideas maybe you should promote a show Memorial day weekend to compete with the Bash for Cash. Or maybe you should build a car and be the Maddog. Hey man I'm just trying to throw out ideas to keep the premium marquis class in the event from becoming the OFFICIAL time to take a piss between TBTC Heats so you dont miss any real action. I have always supported Smashit and have been going to the events since Marysville 1994. They didnt get this way by not adjusting and continually improving. I'd build a maddog car myself if I my back could take it anymore. I will also readily admit I dont have the skill to build a competitive car in that class. All of that said we go there all 13 thousand of us to see destruction. Apparently Im not the only one-as the classes that are making the news are the classes with maddogs and cars that BEND! You take out Shane Jones, Hickman and Zack Campbell from those heats and they were snoozers. Literally there were dudes layed out and asleep in the stands...I mean seriously come on! I'll throw my money into a maddog award-how bout you to keep the 80's class entertaining..... I'm gettin old but I dont need to piss every other heat that TBTC isnt on the track. Hats off to BOTH the wire ups and the TBTC classes. You absolutely made the show! All of the one and done classes were entertaining making JUNK! 80's guys I highly respect your builds and money/time invested. I love the look and the sound. Its just taking too long to bend those beyatches. It has become a game of front passenger wheel fold over then your out. Nothing else ever really breaks or bends. Just some comments on how to improve the greatest show in the country. I've been to Mayhem and if I ever go back I'll bring a good book and sell race fuel to the drivers. For a good time go to the Bash for Cash! I'll be the first to admit I dozed off numerous times through the derby both Saturday and sunday.. A hard weekend of partying with late nights and early mornings does that to ya... Yes action was kind of slow in the 80s heats but you will have that. I don't know what you were Looking at but there were a lot of bent cars after the heats!!! Hence the welding debate going on... With that being said I'm still surprised at how well the old iron cars hold up w/o kickers... GREAT SHOW, GREAT TIME, GREAT PEOPLE, AND EVEN BETTER PARTY! 2K16 PLANS BRING MADE ALREADY!
