So in the truck class the bumper rule is pretty vague. It talks about a rear bumper and that Brings me to ask about bumpers fromt and rear. Are you aloud to load them or not just wondering I know it doesn't say but I just don't feel like showing up without a loaded bumper when everybody has one bumpers aren't cheap these days so I wanted to see what I had to work with

After a long conversation with Tim and I yesterday we have found a flaw with the way a rule is written and have decided to make one change to the rules for the 2 big car classes. For the derbytees.com TBTC class and the 80 and newer derbyparts.com class for the front frame seams from firewall forward you can weld all top seams firewall forward with a single bead of weld no weave passes or building up weld will be permitted. If you relocate A arm brackets in any way you will not be allowed to run and the car will be sent home. The rules we have posted has had these changes made to them.

In the 80 up weld class. Would a transmission mount between the crossmember and tranny brace suffice the 2inch space? Or does the mount need to be 2 inches from the brace?

are passengers allowed in any classes? I doubt it. It would be sweet though. No one got hurt at the fall show that the let passengers ride. |
