Late 80s early 90s chevy 2wd frame got a nice heavy crossmember up front to keep the frame rails straight and a lot of crossmembers in the back to keep the frame straight with a little extra seem welding and some plate from the firewall to rear axle these make one heck of a hard truck good bumpers front and back I like flat ones less stress on the frame and less chances off the frame bending from side to side these frames are fully boxed from the front bumper to the firewall and steering boxs are on inside of frame cut the ifs bs off and put some leafs and straight axle under the front and go ruin someone's day That's just my opinion though

My rules are promod trucks though a little easier to make a hard truck with good rules to build to

Those are like the weakest trucks out there

Not joking one bit just watched one run against four old fords who where all teaming up on the only chevy and he still took 3 out an took 2nd place and like I said I'm in central illinois basically pro mid trucks and pretty good rules to build to anything can be hard with enough welding and plates

I only know of one 90s gm that hang with the mod trucks down there. It is far from stock. I know what mod trucks are. I travel to central Illinois to derby. I'm still not impressed by them.
