I recently ran and broke electric fan and radiator, looking for ggod ideals for mounting rads and which fan will pull or push the proper air without shroud. I need somthing that will withstand multiple track shots for a whole night.
Thanks for any help JT

Radi-barrel. If you can't run those than take two pieces of threaded rod, I like 3/8, and run them up from the bottom of your core support behind the radiator and connect to the core support to with two tabs welded to top of core support. Spacing is key in which you happen to push core support back into fan the rods hit the fan first. Some prefer a plastic fans I think you can get from speed way. I troll the junk yards and find the 9 blade fans made of steel. If you look closely to most photos people use election signs or similar material for a flexible shroud to allow fan to do its job. Best of luck. Hope this helped a little bit

Also use some old garden hose on the threaded rod against the radiator

No fan needed, just get it to run hot. Not sure if a fan or radiator would survive.

You got any close ups like mine to see? No, but what are you wanting to see? The shroud, the fan, or the ratchet strap setup?

There are lots of ways to make a shroud. They are easy on the Caddys because you can use the factory shroud to bolt it to.

One trick on the ratchet straps is use old radiator hose or heater hose to keep the straps from getting cut when in contact with sheetmetal like the core support.

Never had that shroud push back into the headers and cause problems? How do you like the flex fans i though they only work at higher rpm

I trim them back some after Im done. That was during installation. I usually use an 18 inch flex a lite fan. They seem to work just fine. But I don't sit in the corner at idle either so IDK about the RPM/efficiency range. I don't like the idea of a solid mounted metal fan because it could really tear some stuff up if it came in contact with the radiator.
