Great show, didn't think I'd get the car done in time to be there but thankfully I did! Tranny went out early so it looks like I still have a good car to bring back next year!

Sliders will makes the stock car last a little longer. I can see it both ways, I wouldn't change anything but that rule. People can lost longer and not have to worry about busting a driveshaft and that taking them out

SLIDERS WILL DROP YOUR STOCK CAR COUNT DRAMATICALLY AFTER 1 OR 2 SHOWS... EVERYONE WANTS TO RUN THEM IN STOCK BECAUSE IT HELPS YA LAST A LIL LONGER BUT THEN THEY TURN AROUND AND SAY SLIDERS DONT WIN YOU A DERBY.... I CALL BS ON THAT! FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE A FACTORY DRIVESHAFT WORK....

I'm with Larry and Joe, no sliders in stock class. If you allow sliders, next drivers will want hump plates, then pulley protectors, etc, etc. I've never run a slider and have never lost a drive shaft. I'm sure I will sometime just gotten lucky so far. As popular as the stock class is getting, why change it?
On another note, I'd like to say that I had a great time at this derby. I got many strange looks and people questioning my sanity when I lined up for the mod class but it was a blast. I'm looking forward to next year already, just need to decide what class to build for.

I want to thank everyone on behalf of the Clinton County 4-H Fair Council for coming out to support the fall show. I also want to thank the drivers for there dedication in supporting the shows that we put on across central Indiana. Next year we hope to do better bringing these shows to the drivers and the fans to make it worth your while to come out and run or watch.
I would like to thank those who help me put on these shows, I could not do it with out you and appreciate your hard work and dedication to try and keep this sport alive.
This will close out 2014 for John Faucett Enterprises on the Demolition Derby's for this year. We will be working hard in the off month's to try and be creative on how to get more money for the purse and maybe expand are boundaries around the state. We will also be clarifying some of the rules a little more clear for the stock & mini class. We will not have trucks next year, there does not seem to be the dedication to that side.
I will send out a questionnaire to the "DRIVERS" who have ran for me this year about a couple of potential rule changes for next year. This is mainly to get an idea on what guys are thinking for 2015. This does not mean we will change it, because things are really going great as of right now, so why mess it up? I do believe some things need more clarification and transparency to be consistent.
So good luck to all for the rest of 2014 and we look forward to what next year brings us!

I'm stock no matter what. Won't bother me if sliders are a go or not. I like the rules. Class is growing I see everyone point in not changing it. Stock driveshafts won't turn me away nor will a slider. I see everyone's point it's suppose to be stock. I like the engine cradle and honestly that's the farthest I would go. Hope you get more shows john. Hoping to land a wagon and an impala by winter and have 2 fresh builds and a pre ran for next year
