What's your rule on body creasing for the stock class? Just wanting to make sure everything is kosher. Thanks! You can do it just dont get crazy and fold seams and weld them together... Jdf

Is there a real early check in time like the State Fair was or can we get there an hour ahead of time? I will be coming at least an hour and a half away and want to get there and run. You should be fine as long as you there by 4p Jdf

Ok, thank you. Picked up a transmission from the junk yard Saturday. Going to put it in Monday and as long as it will move, I'll be there.

OK guys it looks like we are going to have good weather. Supposed to rain Friday night into the morning then supposed to clear up. We are planning on running this show! We do have a rain date scheduled in case the weather man did not call it right!
Happy patching!

It looks like the weather will be in our favor for tomorrows show. Some morning showers then a high of 75 degree's for the afternoon and evening.
This will be very comfortable for the fans in the stands.
We are expecting a good car count like at the fair show.

Great show last night to those who could not come out to watch.... There was some serious hitting going on in all classes but the stock class is what people are talking about!
I will post results in a little while!

Great show last night wish I had a car but got a great start on nexts years already. I know I will catch sh!tt over this but here it going. I say no sliders for a couple reasons. It is a semi stock class!!!' already allow motor swaps, rearends with gears, changing 6 body mounts, welding doors some, weld in front of a-arms, welding bumpers on really good. Changing steering column or adding knuckles, 4 bandaids or more on preran, Where does it stop once the driveshaft gets changed need guys will want to fix tie-rods and trailing arms then we are back to where we're at now.
I say if we are going to let all this stuff in stock lets just all go to one class any make of car limit the welding double the purse have fun junk shoot repeat.
Believe it or not a lot of guys can't afford the expensive stuff or the knowledge to build the stuff.
I understand guys don't want to spend months on a car for promods. I'm there too, but what happens when all the veterans go to building Stocks it will become the same way you'll have to spend a lot of time to be able to compete and get an edge on your opponent. I'm done

I agree 100% with you Larry. Leave the stock rules the way they are. I don't have the money to buy a slider but can fab up a drive shaft if I need to in about an hour. Great show last night John, leave the stock class rules alone. See you in 2015.

Congrats to all the drivers doing their best to put on a great show in all classes and to my cousin Jeff on 2nd in promods, Brandon 3rd-hanging in there well with his Ford with 2 old BIRDs, Critter in 4th-staying on all 4's, and Toast in 5th. Tyler is becoming a tough, young builder and driver congrats on your win in the stock. First time running at Frankfort and mother nature did not help the track with all the recent rain. Fortunately, John and his crew did a great job to scrape the track and get it to a reasonable condition. I made a quick tire change before the promod feature due to the slick conditions. The show in Frankfort earlier this year had a fantastic track surface...clay base and tacky. This is a great facility to derby at and great size track. I think John's shows will continue to grow and grow around Indiana for a few top reasons: John & his crew treating drivers with respect, the purses paying top 10 & generous giving back paying $500 for 3rd,4th & 5th place, and the best trophies in the state! Stock rules are something to look at and keep consistent...I would like to build a car for both classes next year. Promod rules staying the same I assume, John?....getting them out early, before end of year is best for us guys that would rather build with 6 inches of snow on the ground vs. in the heat
