Has anyone ever ran 5.00x15 or 195-75-14 on a bubble Cavalier just wondering if they were to big 5.00x15 would be a perfict fit. My 99' Sunfire driver has 205/75/15's on it from the factory.

May seem like a bad idea and a tad off the topic here. I ran a car last year but the one im working on this time is really the first one ive "built". It is a bubble body lumina. I like to more trial and error myself rather then ask " should i do this or should i do that" im just trying it out and learning from mistakes. I have some really big mud tires L78-15 (not quite sure on the metric equivalent). I do plan on running these on the fronts with only tubing them. My obvious problem, not clearing the spring bucket. I will be welding my struts ( i know a lot of people say its a big no no but i want to try it) im hoping with the tall tires it may not angle the axles as much. My question is if it still doesnt clear the spring bucket what kind of techniques have you guys uswd doing away with the spring as a whole or bending the spring bucket up?

My 99' Sunfire driver has 205/75/15's on it from the factory. i have a 93 camry, it has 205/65/15 on it, i want to buy some tractor tires for it, would the 5.00x15 work for it or do i have to go slightly smaller since my tires are 65 instead of your sunfires 75?

They would be just fine on the 'Yota ! Tube them or if stuffed use a 125/70/15 donut and go with a 6 or 7 inch rim.

If I were to buy a pair of 23-8.50-15 skids, off of what car's rims would they fit on. I need something with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, because rules don't allow weld-in centers. Car came without wheels.

Ive never seen a 23x15 skidsteer tire but a 27x8.50x15 will fit fine on a 15x7 wheel like a ss wheel or similar width rim. If your talking about 23x8.50x14 skids then thats a different story. What kind of car are you building?

Ok. Im working on w bodies. I have been running 500 15 but wanting to try skids I got a set of 27 1515s but Im worried that they are to heavy and bend struts and give me problems. I like the idea of 23 14s but finding struts and swapping struts seems like to much work lol so has you guys run 27s with good luck. Thanks
